Hey hun what is the difference with israeli couscous vs the usual couscous I would buy ?

Lisa xx

It is bigger (also called pearl couscous) and toasted as opposed to dried so tastes nice n nutty. It is made of wheat as well as semolina. I got it in asda! You should try it, works well hot or cold as a salad :)

Can someone help me! I'm eating at a friends tomorrow night and told her I'm on a fat n oil free diet (also suffer from IBS) so no probs there. She's cooking healthy for me but making tortilla wraps with Quorn n veg. I'm so worried, these are really high in syns right? Or can they be a hexB?

Afraid not I'm not sure what the Syn value is??? Which wraps is she using? WW wraps are 5 syns each... Why not suggest bringing the wraps? They are in tesco :) x

Ah no idea :( I feel bad saying I can't have them, been difficult enough! We're drinking n having a Girly night too so need to save my syns I think! But I think I might if it's 5 syns count it as my hexB, have two on a green day. I know it's not strictly right, but I have been good generally and think if the rest of my weekend is good I'll be fine.

Just had a look on here old el paso ones are 7 for a white and the whole meal ones are 10! So anywhere between 7-10 unless it's ww!
Have one if I was you then enjoy everything else! Just pull it back a bit the rest of the week! Enjoy :)

Yes that seems like the best thing to do, it's not always in our control is it? But I can control the rest of the day and weekend, and get my butt to the gym every day this weekend. I had such a good loss last week, would be gutted to gain this week. I do find it hard with socialising though: drinks & eating out mainly, the snacks I can avoid...

How was weigh in? Mmm, loved your list of afternoon tea items. I love the institution of afternoon tea, particularly with champagne - so much so that my OH bought me a tiered cake stand, so I could at least have it on the occasional Sunday at home & not just when we're staying at 'posh' hotels! Once I'm at target I'm definitely off for a celebratory afternoon tea!

I love tea parties too and have lots of mis-matched china ... and cake stands:)

Hope you had a loss Dagmar :)
