Going it alone - food diary!

Weighed in on Tuesday this week and was down to 11 stone.

Thursday 14th February, 2013


Boiled egg
2 x Nimble bread (HE).

Spinach and peppers
Turkey slices
Baby boiled potatoes.

Spinach pasta
Olive oil (approx 10 syns)

2 x mandarin oranges.

Nimble slice of toast (2.5 syns)
Tea with milk (HE).

Baby boiled potatoes
Spinach and peppers
Slice of turkey.

Pink and white (2.5 syns)

Just a note to saw how satisfying it is to have had two really great SW days and enjoy a "bad" breakfast this morning. Savoured the sausages and bacon and the white bread was just so yummy!! Before SW I'd eat 3/4 white bread slices, a full tin of beans, 3 sausages, 3-4 bacons. Now I'm totally full, satisfied and looking forward to a salad dinner and fruit for rest of day!

Ate some sweets before bed but can't quite remember what they were!!

** 1.5 hrs gym session. Cardio, bike, rowing machine.

Weighed in this morning. 10st 13lb!!!!!

I am just so happy, honestly I never thought I'd see 10st again. That this whole "diet" exercise was just something to do for New Years. That I was just a "pudgy" person and there's nothing that could be done. But when I stepped on the scales this morning and saw 10 I just felt so elated. I can do this. I can go it alone and have the body shape I want. This Slimming World programme is a journey, and I've had glasses of wine, some chocolate. I eat out regularly. But I just feel so much healthier by cutting out the bread from my life, eating fruits and salads, doing exercise. I'm just so happy to see 10st. And I really want to stick at the plan and achieve my goals!

Had a really down day yesterday. Stressed about the Ph.D. and life and money worries.... Still not feeling right today but positive enough to keep going with diet. Yesterday was a write-off with ice cream and everything :( So here's today:
