    Any over 60's out there?

Yum yum yum. Added tandoori powder and a few chilli flakes to the mushroom soup - had to drink two pints of water with it as it was rather hot - but I loved it! Thank you! Any more tricks up your sleeve?

    Any over 60's out there?

Hi Mere, I have a lot more weight to lose than you and I think the more you have to lose the more you lose in the first weeks but I know it will even out. I am so impressed that you go to the gym. My only exercise is walking the dog and throwing frisbee for him. Also you'll be building muscle...

    Any over 60's out there?

Oh I love the idea of curry powder in the mushroom soup, will definitely give that a try! Chilli flakes in tomato soup too - the spicier the better. Many thanks for those tips, I can't wait for dinner now!

    Any over 60's out there?

Hello Mere, It's good to know I'm not the only over 60! How are you finding it? Have you stuck to TS 100%? I've managed to stick to 100% so far but have found it quite hard and I'm craving a curry like mad! I'll try and make it 3 weeks then I can have some food.

    Any over 60's out there?

Hi, I am doing TS. Lost 9lbs the first week and 4 lbs the second which i was really surprised at because I thought it would be harder to lose the older you got. That is why I wondered if there were others doing Exante and how they were getting on. (Not because I didn't want to talk to younger...

Hi Laura, Just broke my scales trying to replace the battery. Do you recommend your all singing all dancing scales that were ruined? If so - what brand/model were they?

Hi Cec, Sorry that you aren't getting on too well with it. Do try to give it a couple of weeks at least then you'll be feeling the benefits of being in ketosis. Have you sean the thread about different things people do with their packs? It's titles "Poll: How do you make your shakes/soups?"...

    Any over 60's out there?

Hi, I'm Annie and I'm 61. I felt like my life was over because I'd gained so much weight, my hips hurt, my knees hurt and I had no energy. However I had a brilliant time at my work Christmas party but when I saw the photos I was horrified at how huge I was. That was a nemesis for me because I...

Sounds like you could be in ketosis! If you hadn't had many carbs before you started the diet that would have really helped. Lucky you, you'll soon be over the worst. Well done!

How do you make your shakes/soups

I like to use a chocolate shake mix and make a muffin and chocolate custard. Just put the chocolate powder and a crushed sweetener into a small cup and put 2 teaspoonsful of it into a separate cup. Add a little water to the first cup (the one with most of the powder) and mix into a thick paste...

Sorry that you feel so bad. I've never suffered like that myself but hopefully someone on the forum will have some advice for you. The most important thing I can offer is please don't give up. It will get easier when you know what suits you and what doesn't. :)

Oh dear but well done for persevering. I add lots of freshly ground black pepper and a few dashes of red tabasco sauce. Makes it quite spicy so lots of sips of water help too! On the other hand - there lots of other things to chose from so don't make yourself uncomfortable forcing yourself. x

Hi I'm on day 9 and absolutely loving it. I find keeping up with the water uptake means Im drinking all day and don't get any hunger pangs. The Exante powder mixes are really nice flavours and mixing it with sparkling water from the fridge (17p per 2 ltr bottle supermarket value range) feels...
