Starting Cambridge Diet at a healthy BMI

LifesDesire, I'm doing the same although my BMI is 24 and I'm tall so losing 1 1\2 stones should take my BMI to the 22-23 range which is as low as I would ever want to be, it was just under 25 when I started. I have IGT and CD has really helped control my sugars. I'm doing Step 2 for 4 weeks...

Mission to be a size 12

It's going better than I thought thanks Liz. I had intended to go up the Cambridge steps, but have just spent the last month eating normally. I was a bit obsessed at first with weighing everything and logging the calories etc but now just eat normal meals and don't snack, and have stayed the...

Maintenance is a toughie. I stopped the shakes a couple of weeks ago and went onto around 1200 cals a day. I was strict at first, weighing absolutely everything but now just eat what I like really, within reason. I still drink my 2 or 3 litres of water a day, and my portion sizes are...

My calorie counting diet to maintain

Well this is it, I've reached a weight that I wanted to be and so now I plan to maintain this for life! Much easier said than done I know. I was a very skinny kid and teenager, and stayed very thin up until my first pregnancy, where I didn't put much weight on. I always ate what I wanted...

It's the pounds for me, the nearer I get to target, the more inches I've lost so the two go pretty much go hand in hand really anyway. It's nice losing the inches from my waistline, but losing the pounds does other things like having just the one chin without the baggy bit hanging underneath...
