I have got loads to lose too - in 200lbs (14st 5) want to get down to 140lbs (10st) - I'm 5'5", so I'm not even tall heh. I'm trying to be logical and think "well, I am eating a lot less than previously, and I wasn't ballooning every day, so I must lose weight eventually...." but it is annoying...

Hmmm bit disappointed - first weigh in this morning only lost 2lbs. And I've been very strict with myself on control and writing everything down :/ does anyone think this could perhaps be a case of my body hanging onto the weight and it will drop it suddenly? I feel thinner - my clothes fit...

From 14 stone to 13 stone

That makes sense - go for what makes you comfortable. I once weighed 9 stone (years ago) and that was too light for me. But at 10st I was a size 8-10,felt good, looked good, so I think that's a good place for me again (might end up saying 11 is light enough - we shall see :) :))

Ooo that's an idea, I might syn on luxury coffee when I fancy it (I have a machine that froths milk for cappuccinos... Mmmm <3). I think I'm going to try and make some daal this week too, which does use oil (otherwise the aromatics of the spices don't release) and a portion has around 3syns...

Thanks @Gemsta ! I'm struggling to use my sins (I know that sounds stupid - but I actually am!) but I think I'm going to buy some of those snack bar things from the group. I don't have a huge sweet tooth for chocolates (baking is my weakness haha) and bread was always my go-to snack. I think...

    Student Slimmer going it alone

Hi there. Looks like you had a good first day :) I'm not trying to sell you on the meetings, but if it is only the weight you are worrying about, your weight is kept completely confidential between you and the consultant. No one else knows it :) I was so nervous about that at first too, but...

From 14 stone to 13 stone

Heaviest I've ever been (urgh) weighed in at 14st 7.5 on Saturday. Ultimate goal is 10st flat. I'm 5'5" but quite a broad build (hourglass and I carry most of my weight in my legs) so I think 10st will look good on me. Aiming for at least 3lbs lost this week (first week of slimming world)...
