    SW and Metformin??

    My husband takes it for diabetes and metformin didn't make him put on any weight. He then started on insulin and that has put on stones. But they are now coming off thanks to SW! He says metformin doesn't affect weight at all. Hope that helps.

    Sainsbury's be good to yourself egg mayo not syn free!

    Hi everyone. I took the egg mayo to class last night to tell everyone it was syn free and my consultant has just contacted me to say it was an error and it's actually 1 syn per tablespoon. The website's been amended now. Didn't know if anyone was eating it regularly or not.

    bargain of the century!!

    What a bargain. We bought one on Monday and it cost us £130! Well worth it though as the chips are lovely. They taste just like old fashioned chips (if that makes sense!). We made some last night with a tsp oil (2 syns) and that worked just as well as with a tbsp oil. Going to try spray oil...

    Snacks Does anyone have any dip recipes?

    I make my own blue cheese dip by mixing fromage frais with 42g Saint Agur (the creamy one in a hexagonal pot). It's 6 syns or I use it as a Healthy Extra b choice. Don't know if I'm supposed to but i figured it's cheese! Add fromage frais to taste.
