    Prefer old points system.

I've only been to my meetings once since the new plan was introduced. I really don't like it at all. I felt in control with the old system and I'm sticking with that. I can't see the point in going to meetings now because they'll only be promoting pp, understandably. I do feel a bit sad about...

Did you ask your leader why there weren't any?

    Half way to goal ......

You've done so incredibly well. Please don't be too hard on yourself. I was thinking about some of the comments yesterday particularly, as like me, you said you weren't enjoying the new plan. I was trying to figure out why I might be feeling like this and I think it's because I felt in...

Gains/losses after 1st week on Propoints. How have you done?

I felt like a social leper today when I said that I'd found the whole thing a struggle this week with the calculating and relearning. I think I'll have to spend a few hours one evening going over all my trusty favourites and working out what their pp value is or I'm going to get fed up and stick...

Gains/losses after 1st week on Propoints. How have you done?

That's how I felt this morning and I've stayed the same. Onwards and upwards I say, ooh and less bananas.

Gains/losses after 1st week on Propoints. How have you done?

There seems to have been some great success stories following the first week on propoints. I just wondered if we could have one single thread to post how we've got on after our first week on the new propoints system?

    Home made chips....help??

This is what I do with a spray of oil, although I do find they still don't always cook very evenly even on that Aldi chip tray. (damn that Actifry thread). I sometimes put mine in a collander, add some salt and shake them. This makes them nice and crisp with a salty kick.

    Blackberry users

I'm a BlackBerry user and dh found this for me last night. It does say it's supported by most BlackBerrys but I'm not sure if it's updated for propoints. Worth a look. WeightWatchers.com: Weight Watchers Mobile

    Best bread?

I made the mistake of buying the new oat bread yesterday, I think it's Kingsmill. When I pointed it up last night, 1 slice was 3 pps whereas the Best of Both works out at 2pps.

    Tefal actifry

I really shouldn't read these types of threads 'cause I'm a sucker for a new kitchen appliance. Since starting WW I ditched the deep fat fryer and I've been cooking wedges and potates, cut up and seasoned, on a tray in the oven with a spray of lite oil but they don't cook very evenly as I...

    PP and feeling ill

I know what you mean. I have this problem with fibre too and I was worried about this new diet with all the talk of high fibre foods. I love stuff like All bran but it absolutely hates me. I'd be bad for days after that. Apples and pears have the same effect and I'm having to be careful with...

    ProPoints Calculator

I've found it fiddly too. Could be my fat fingers, lol. It's like the . is in the wrong place. I keep having to CE and re-enter because mine doesn't like the . button.

    gaining weight on propoints

I usually weigh the morning (Tuesday) of my meeting to see if it's going to be good news. I weighed once on the weekend and it was a big mistake. I showed a gain and I was miserable for the next 3 days. Please don't be disheartened. Just keep going, eating your allowance and stay off the...

    Who else loves bananas?

Bit of a silly topic I know but I've deprived myself of bananas for the last 6 months because I was loathe to give up points for one and I do have a bad habit of buying gargantuan ones. Yesterday I purchased some small ones and, sad though it seems, my life is complete again with 0 points...

Could you do it like this as if you have 36 points a day

lol, I like that. It sums me up as well. I guess I'd rather go on the assumption I have upto 36 points a day and when I have a some left over I somehow I feel I've had 'a good day'. I can carry what's left over for a day when I'm struggling as long as it's no more than 7. Like I say, it's...

Could you do it like this as if you have 36 points a day

I'm not sure if I'm thinking straight here but is it possible, say you have 29pp and your 49 allowance, could you just work it out as 36pp a day and carry upto 7 over a day if you haven't used them? With me it's just psychological.

i can see this becoming expensive!

I bought the pack including Shop, Eating out and the trackers. Plus I bought the calculator. Might as well be first as last and I need all the help I can get to keep me on track. I'm not shelling out for new kitchen scales though.

    Oh i'm sooo happy NSV

Well done, that's fantastic. The thing I like about going down a few sizes is not having to place the pegs so far apart on the washing line.

2 Stone gone - as of today.

Well done on getting back on track. I really struggled over the school holidays. In those 7 weeks I had either no loss or 1/2 here and there plus we went on hols. I've found recognising and accepting why I'm struggling, i.e. having them all home and being out of my routine, helps me realise...

2 Stone gone - as of today.

HI all, I'm not sure if it's usual to make announcements as I'm new to the board but it feels like a milestone reached for me today so I wanted to share. Had my weigh in this morning and have achieved a 2 stone loss. I started in May after years of being miserable and feeling out of control...

    HAPPY WEEKEND EVERYONE!

I find the weekends a challange too. Probably because everybody else needs feeding too whereas in the week I'm left to my own devices throughout the day. That's given me a thought. I could lose 10 stone in one go. I just need to get rid of the kids!

    Weightwatchers - Changing ??

That's interesting. Last week we covered carbs and talked about eating more wholegrain food. I wonder if this is a way to break us in to the changes.

What are your reasons for losing weight?

My initial motivation was my health. I've had non stop lower back problems for the last 2 years and have had some minor operations along the way which meant being knocked out. I couldn't bear the idea of them lifting my unconscious body onto the trolley and saying 'look here, we've got another...

    Lots to lose...

I started out with just over 6 stone to lose and I've currently lost 27 lbs, so nearly 1/3rd of the way there. I'm taking it bit by bit, looking forward to the changes but already I feel so much better. I can move quicker and genuinely feel lighter on my feet. My motivation was my health...

    low point breakfast ideas

Me three on the Cheerios front. I'm also a fan of the golden syrup porridge oats, especially the Aldi's packs. That keeps me going all morning.
