    Why Exante??

I decided to try Exante, as I need to see some quick initial results to encourage me to carry on and also to enable me to start exercising. A friend of mine had great results and recommended this to me, so I know it works.

    so long...farewell

Such a shame to leave, as you're going in the right direction (you've already lost 10.6% of your total) ! Maybe just change it a bit and introduce one meal a day, or keep going with the diet but if you have a bad day, just have a bad day without feeling guilty. Whatever you do, good luck and...

Not a weigher-Anyone else out there not an avid scale stepper?

I used to weigh myself almost every day, and obviously, never saw any results, so I would get demoralised and give up. As I fell ill during my first week, I only weighed myself after a couple of weeks, and was pleased that I still lost some, although I wasn't strict. I plan to weigh myself...

well...not sure THAT was a good idea :(

I did that, too, and printed it off and posted on my fridge door to remind me... Luckily I live alone, so there's nobody else to frighten!

    TS AAM Lucertola's Diary

Well, that cold turned out to be swine flu, from which I'm only now recovered. Still exhausted, can't even think about starting any exercise. The diet had to be put on hold, as I had to keep my strength up. I allowed myself to eat what and whenever I wanted, which was mainly steamed fish and...

    Bobbi's Diary

That's a good point, hope he took it in. It must be tough on the people we live with, as they may have to change their eating habits to avoid putting us into temptation. Luckily, I live on my own, so as long as I don't go to the shops, I'll be fine, I hope... Good luck!

Christmas time off! are you or aren't you?

I only started two days ago and as I don't celebrate Christmas, it's no sacrifice, especially as I don't drink and I can't stand the Christmas foods anyway. If anything, it'll be easier, as the shops and offices are closed, so it'll be several days of ME-time! My work contract finishes in a...

    Achievable?

Hope so! I've been 16-18 for so long that I hardly remember what I used to look like before. Your strategic measurements and goals seem to be the same as mine. I've set myself a time table of 16 June, as I started 16 December; hopefully that's long enough to achieve it and stabilise it. Good...

    TS AAM Lucertola's Diary

Well, Day Two was pants, as my lingering cold got really bad, and all that coughing brought an onset of reflux. I had to take the day off work and spent most of it sleeping. I took a bite of the nut bar, but had no appetite so put it away. Couldn't even face any water, as I was bringing that...

    Question about Exante

You could arrange for a weekly weigh-in at your local GP surgery or a pharmacy.

A "Nearly There" thread, with pictures.

Jo, your posts elsewhere inspired me to finally get off my ever widening arse and do something about my weight. Let's hope my results live up to yours!

    TS AAM Lucertola's Diary

Wish me luck, people... I've been 'festively plump' all my adult life and have been inventing excuses for it: sedentary lifestyle, stressful job, dodgy knees. My sister, who's a bit larger than me, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in the summer and that, together with my high blood pressure...
