Hiya
I'm aiming for 11st too, started at 14.6 WI tonight and lost 2lb taking me to 11.12&1/2. For past 8wks I've bobbed up and down between 12st & 12.5 so well chuffed to finally get into the 11's :)
I've got 14wks till I go on holiday
I know how you feel for past 6wks I've gone up and down 12.2 then 12 then back up to 12.2, it has proper done my head in. Think it's a psychological thing knowing I only have 1st left to loose, I'm currently at 12st 1/2lb get WI tomorrow I've done it 100% this week so hope to be in 11's tomorrow!
I'm so dreading tomorrow I've done something which I haven't done in such a long time a mid-week WI, know I shouldn't. Feel I've lost my mojo :(
I defiantly need to get my head in gear and get this last st off for my holiday in 18wks.
Done a 6 & 3/4 mile hike at The Hole of Horcum yesterday, first time I've done a real hike since I had major surgery in October, nothing like that feeling of accomplishment :o)
I take quiet a few meds take meds for high blood pressure, meds for that time of the month for migraine and saviour period pain, meds for IBS in a different forms medicine, tablets and dissolvable.
They either haven't affected my weight or I haven't let them affect my weight.
Well I've maintained this week, seem to be really struggling to get in to those 11's got to 12st then 2 on then STS it's like because I'm nearly there subconsciously I'm sabotaging myself and stopping myself from getting there. Feel to determined this week roll on next Tuesday.
It's my WI on Tuesday so just gotta hold out till then and I'll satisfy my cravings then.
All I can think about is Crunchies, Bountys, Dimes & Snickers could eat them all
Once a month I get really bad sweet cravings, I'm normally a savoury person but 8 days before my *week I start craving chocolate.
Well my cravings started today and so far I have managed to resist but can really feel them getting stronger.
I just want a Dime aaarrggh
I know how you feel last thing you want to do or yet able to do is stand cooking and all you want is comfort food.
Determination is the key I had flu couple of weeks ago I'm abit pigheaded and seen it as a battle between me and it and I won and lost 2lb.
Last week went to docs got a chest...
I'm totally gobsmacked with your consultant.
Your weight lose all depends on a number of factors not just what you eat, everyone is different and we all loose weight at different rates. I'd report her to SW HQ as she is bang out of order.
For health reason, I have high blood pressure, my family medical history isn't good was a year tomorrow that my cousin died at the age of 38 of natural causes (her heart stopped). There is no way I want to give it a helping hand.
To be able to look in the mirror and love what I see (myself).
To...
It's all to do with marketing and who they are aiming at, take Topshop & DP's they are both owned by Arcadia yet the sizes are worlds apart. This is because DP is aimed at women aged 30 and above where Topshop is aimed at below 30's.
Really sizing is a double edged sword when you are on the...
Everyone is different we all have our so called trigger foods.
I love bread and pasta but they not so keen on me and even if I have bread just as my HEB it has a detrimental effect on my weight loss.
The joys of SW is that it's so flexible that we can tailor the plan to our individual needs.
I just feel like it's an obsession or addiction, when I think of my week I know I've not gone off track as I've still kept track of my syns, yet I don't feel in control just because I've not kept a diary.
Feels like it's a bit like a comfort blanket to me.
Think I'll be keeping my comfort...
SW don't encourage you to keep a food diary through out the journey, that's why you only get 4 food diaries in a pack and they aren't left out for you to freely take
I've been doing SW on & off (off bit is a couple of month then I return) for around 7yrs now.
I write down in a diary, it's not...
I've been doing SW for years now and I know it's a lifestyle change, and that means we can't be doing food diaries for life.
This week so far (from Tuesday) I've not wrote things down, still kept track of my syns on iPhone calculator. I feel so out of control with not writing things down. I know...
I have family members like this and it's hard when they say I'm obsessed and boring.
But I see it a different way they're always saying how happy they are with their weight and how their living life to the full.
I think they say the things they do as a front their not happy but don't want to...
Know exactly what you mean my OH is the same I know he's just trying to help me stay focused and on track, and sometimes it's what I need but other times it just riles me and the rebel in me comes out.
I use to do them daily but now do them weekly, works a lot better for me.
I can knock syns for things I'm going to have threw the week but may not have all at once eg tub of coleslaw, bottle of wine thing like that and then use them at my leisure without measuring or weighing. At times I've...
It is, but it all depends on the frame of mind your in!
My OH I've been with 17yrs and he has always weighed around the same no matter what.
Did a little experiment at Xmas, we weighed ourselves at the beginning, we ate exactly the same only difference was he drank a lot more alcohol than me...
Hi don't know if I'm posting this in the right place or not, so sorry in advance if I'm not.
I've got 4 FLABeLOS sessions booked for the week and was wondering if it would count as body magic?
No sorry I had things like crabsticks, prawn, cockles, chicken bites for snacking and for meals curries, chillie with beans replaced with veg, stew & steamed veg, ham salad, stir fry & fish going to see if I can do it again this week.
I know exactly what you mean, I've been doing SW for years now off and on and never got to target once. This times different I'm determined and over the years I've learnt a few things, each week I get weighed I feel like it's a fresh start what ever I've done the week before it's been and gone...
Wish I could "sense" which way it's going to go, it's WI tomorrow for me, this morning I felt slim then at lunch I faulted and instead of having what I'd taken for lunch I had an egg mayo sandwich and a bag of walkers. Now I don't feel any slimmer and just want tomorrow to hurry up to get it...
I would defiantly ditch the scales, I use to weigh myself all the time and no matter what the scales said it was detrimental. If it was a lose I'd become complacent and a gain I'd be disheartened and end up binging. I wouldn't want to and it wasn't intentional, but psychologically weighing...
I know 2 people 1 who has lost 15st the SW way and the other lost 8st with a gastric band.
The fella I know who lost it with SW was offered a gastric band and opted to have ago with SW, once he had lost the weight he went to see if he could have anything done about the loose skin he was left...
I gained a pound last week after being on EE and been really strict with 2/3's superfree foods, not blaming EE plan as it was my * week and may of been down to that. Was still totally gutted & before EE came along I always mainly done red and consistent good weight losses, so this week gone back...
I love walking I have a pair of Timberland Euro Hikers they are well comfty. Cost me £70 in sales online, my last pair of walking boots I got from Go Outdoors they only cost £30 and lasted a couple of years.
Hi
I'm a Tuesday weigher so far I've lost 1st 11lb, put a pound on last week and was totally devastated as I was strict with myself all week knowing it was my * week and really wanted a loss.
Gone back to basics this week and red and green days I want that 2st award on Tuesday :)
So true Laminx :)
If you don't stoke the fire it won't burn, as soon as you eat your metabolism starts can be as little as a banana or as much as a full breaky.
You have to fuel the metabolism for it to burn, day of WI eat little and often at least every 2hrs this will keep your metabolism...
Well WI on Tuesday and not good put a lb on was totally gutted was focused and on my best behaviour all week, gonna do red and green this week & see if it gets me what I want :o)
Hi I'm 5"6.5 @ 12.3 when I started I was 14.1 and at one point when up to 14.6. I've been really good this week and would love to see 11's on the scales tomorrow at WI :o)
