On ww i wad eating all sorts of junk food become quite a crisps addict as long as i pointed that was fine, now since doing sw i have not touched them as quite high in syns which is good because i didnt think i was ever going to get out of that habit, thankyou slimming world

Slimming world really does change your eating habits x

I tried WW last year for a short time and thats why I ended up back at SW it made me realise it was a much better plan where you'd eat more healthily instead of picking up junk.
I know WW has the filling and healthy plan now but I still found myself using alot of their own stuff. xxx

I completely agree. I did ww years ago, but remember not wanting to use my points up on anything remotely healthy. I did lose weight (then out it back on again), but my bad eating habits didn't change/improve. With sw I am eating so much better, and so much more. I'm so much healthier now :)

agreed! X

I'm only five weeks in so probably still in that honeymoon period where SW and I are still in love... but I'm really enjoying it.
On Sunday (roast lamb, spuds and veggies) I instinctively piled on the veggies and forgot the meat. And I love meat.
I think my brain is making the connection between weight loss and healthy eating.
Either that or I'm just getting old and forgetful...

I found counting daily points did encourage me to watch portion control and choose healthier things to stretch them out. I always found the 49 weekly points on WW too much of a temptation though. I know they are there as a cushion for when you have to have a life, but mine usually went on two bottles of wine and a tub of Ben and Jerry's within the first couple of days! That is why I don't count syns weekly - I can't be trusted LOL. I think SW is better at pushing you towards healthier choices generally though.
