Extra Easy Healthy syns

Hi there. I'm just starting out (again) and I really want to use my syns for healthy stuff and not to have them sugar-based as I really need to deal with this sugar addiction! I love Food Doctor's roasted bean mix. Does anyone know its syn value? Does anyone have any other good ideas for savoury syns? Thanks so much x:)

I use some of my syns sometimes on the nandos sauce sachets. I chop chicken in chunks and marinade it for a few hours then put on skewers with onions peppers and mushrooms. Paste over the rest of the sauce and grill.
Or I have french fries, quavers or a nut selection

I've recently found out that Hula Hoops Pufts are only 3.5 syns which I believe is the lowest for any crisps?? I might be wrong but it's the lowest I've seen.

I'm more of a savoury person than sweet and I eat a lot of crabsticks and boiled eggs as snacks as they're free.

I also sometimes use my syns on sushi (generally speaking it's 1-2 syns a pack) for lunch when I'm in work. You could have the little taster boxes for a snack.

Roasted bean mix is 9 syns for 50 grams

You could try making your own roast bean mix with seasoning and Frylight, it's the oil that knocks the syns so high in these by the look of it. Just make sure you've dried your (cooked/tinned) beans thoroughly before you roast them or they'll never go crispy!

Like others have mentioned I sometimes use syns on the Nandos sauces and marinades, as well as things like extra cheese or milk if I've used my allowance.
Nuts, crisps and crackers are something I also love.

I'm trying hard to mostly use my syns for things that make my main meals a bit more exciting, rather than on junk food - things like chorizo in paella or pasta, light mayo with SW chips, a slice of garlic bread with pasta, that kind of thing. I do sometimes use them on Wotsits or Quavers etc though, or for a real treat, a mini Magnum. Yum.

Aha! yes, I think I remember this with chick peas when I last went down the SW road. Maybe I'll try adding Cajun spices or something too - although they might burn, I'll let you know! Thanks
