Been playing around and learnt the chain stitch and fishtale today. Not so keen on the chain - going to learn the others soon where you can add beads so I can add in the WEMITTS beads in when they come Ended up making loads today and practising.

Quite enjoyed it really. I'm a child again

You can do all sorts with the bands, make phone cases, charms, snowflakes, dolls, hair bows and so on and so forth. It really distracts you from feeling hungry and eating!

I went from 12 till 4.30 without even realising it - and then I made another straight after dinner! It's amazing how quickly it passes the time!

If you have an entertainer toyshop in your town (or want to order online) they have the looms on offer at the moment for £3 (instead of 5 - or little box sets for £5 I think it was) Loop 'n' Loom

You don't have to have a loom, you can use your fingers or apparently you can use a fork too! If you youtube 'loom bracelets' there are LOADS of tutorials

ebay is full of things too as is amazon, both looms and bands. If you don't mind waiting for them to come from China (usually a couple of weeks ish) then you can pick up some real bargains


Ladies, I had a thought. When the beads get here, would you like IMITT or WEMITT?

I'd go for IMITT. I'm the one that has to do this. I'm the one that got me in this mess in the first place. My responsibility, my problem

Cooor I love my dog, I really really do (and he was the birthday boy yesterday!) but my word he has a hard skull! :8855::8855:

I wanted to look out the window and he wanted to look with me so I lifted him up. When I put him down again he lifted his head up and headbutted me right on the nose. It stopped hurting pretty quickly so I thought nothing more of it - but today I've got a big bruise and swollen bridge of my nose now :8855:

Same here. Spoilt little babies, both of mine


Worked straight through lunch again today without even realising (even now I'm not hungry in the slightest and it's coming up tea time!! weird!) Will make up for it though, have a chicken/stuffing sandwich waiting for me - can never say no to those even if they are not great calorie wise!


Will have to keep an eye on it, it's the third time I've done it, not great when I'm trying to keep my body consistant.

Made up for it by adding calorific little tings (and having a crunchie!) but crikey, I need to stop it !
