    Hi All

Well done for all the weight loss so far!

Just started LL this week - my question is - do you lose more weight by sticking to 4 liquid meals that 3 liquid/1bar...??

The counsellors assistant said its just the same its just that the bar contains more carbs... have to say not convinced.

Please tell me the experience you have had - ta!

I had great losses and had bars all the way through. My absolute favourite was cranberry, but I also used to have the peanut one grilled and sprinkled with sea salt - reminded me of peanut butter!

    These were my losses:

    Wk 1 = - 10lb :D
    Wk 2 = - 5lb
    Wk 3 = - 4lb
    Wk 3 + 2 days = -2lb (WI day changed)
    Wk 4 = - 5lb
    Wk 5 = - 5lb
    Wk 6 = - 5lb
    Wk 7 = - 4lb
    Wk 8 = - 2lb
    Wk 9 = - 5lb :D (Post Xmas WI!)
    Wk 10 = -3lb
    Wk 11 = -3lb
    Wk 12 = -3lb (4 stone down!)
    Wk 13 = -5lb :p
    Wk 14 = -2lb (4st 7lb lighter!!:D)
    Wk 15 = -4lb
    Wk 16 = -4lb Again.... (now 5st 1lb down and healthy BMI!!!!)
    Wk 17 = STS :sigh:
    Wk 18 = -3lb (phew!)
    Wk 19 = -4lb
    Wk 20 = -5lb :eek::D:D:D:D:D:eek: (GOAL!!)

Anyway, I couldn't have managed without them. They were great to take out in the day, or if I was going shopping in my bag to have with black coffee.

Definitely wouldn't have done without them. There is no way in this world that my losses could have been any better without them I'm convinced.

    Good luck!

    Hi there, welcome!

I've had a bar for lunch every day since week 2 and it hasn't affected my weight loss at all.

And the bar has texture. You'll need texture and something to chew after a bit.

    Hi ya LLL,

I lost 12 stone on LL and I ate bars all the way through...no significant change to the amount of weight loss as the difference in calories are so minimal in the scheme of things x I could not have done it without the bars as it meant you could actually chew something!! :D

Bars are great for texture and chewiness. Also they are vital for those times when discretion is required or when a kettle and water are not close to hand. I have one bar per day as I often drive long distances and I can eat a bar on the move as it were. The weeks I have a lower loss are usually around totm when I noticeably retain water. xx

Just chipping in to say I had 5-7 peanut bars per week and lost over 4 stone in foundation.

Yup, Bar bar bar - no debate

Absolutely can't recommend the bars highly enough for something 'real' to eat. I love the cranberry and the peanut bars and have had 1 per day since day 4.

A life on liquid only sounds too dull to contemplate.

The bars are great, and LL wouldn't provide you with something that will affect your loss so don't worry about it!
