2014 weight loss challenge

Exactly my response to long term weight prognosis too - choc is as addictive as some stuff u can go to prison for!!

So glad Cadbury's brought out the Freddo at 95 syns - had a popping candy one today - to die for ....yet it wasn't so long ago when a family size Galaxy bar wasn't enough! Good luck 2moro - we'll be looking out for ur post!

i def believe that on the chocolate front lol-i have some to have as a treat tonight, although my oh has been tearing his way through it, so goodness knows how much will be left for me lol.

i lost 2.75 pounds this morning :) so happy-that means i've lost half a stone and has put me back on track for having lost a pound a week since i started, which is what i'm aiming for, so i'm all happy this morning lol :) thank you for all your support this week-i think if i wasn't complaining etc so much on here, i probs would have just thought sod it, and eaten a lot of crap-being accountable is definitely a good incentive as i would have been embarrassed complaining and then coming in with another gain. thanks ladies!
 
I've hovered between low 11s and high 10s for last 2 years (14st 2 at heaviest eek) but wanted to get a bit lower - then went on a hol last Oct and put on loads - cdn't get back on track so by Jan 2014 I'd gone up to 12st 11 - I was gutted and so mad with myself! As u say slow and steady will get us there - hope it goes well for u.

I feel your pain. Although having a goal is good it needs to be realistic. I fell of the wagon because it was birthday season (OH, mine and a nephews) so never got back on track. I was doing sw at the time and just messed about for months because I didn't get to my target on my 30th birthday. I only had 14lbs to go. So sad that we do this to ourselves and now we struggle with trying to lose it but we'll get there hun x

i feel your pain-this time last year i was seven pounds from goal (although goal was 9.2, not 8.9). for some reason i struggle big time when i get near goal, not because the weight slows down as such, but because i freak out and eat-i don't know what thats all about?

this site has been a great motivator, esp this thread, so i'm feeling really confident-for the time being lol.

you will get there, you're doing great :)

Well done on all the losses.

I am dreading weighing, feeling huge as it's TOTM even though I have been 100% all week.

I got a choccy heart as one of my Valentine's gifts from hubby so I will be splitting that up into 100cal snacks for a few days I think.

Having a yummy full fat meal tonight of leek and cheese stuffed haddock fishcakes and it JUST comes under my 1400 daily cal limit on MFP.

Know exactly what u mean about giving up and sabotaging ourselves when u feel things are going wrong.

You never need to be embarrassed to post a gain or any of the other stuff we probably all do whilst dieting (or not dieting!) here's the place to rant and complain - thank goodness for Minimins!!

Ur date with the scales cd go better than u think - might it be an attack of scales-nervosa? Good idea to chop up your choc heart - I'd be able to chop it but probably wd still eat it all at once - well done u! Hope scales say what u want them too.
 
I think it's because I know TOTM normally ******* me up on the scales even on a 100% week! lol

Normally I would inhale the choc without thinking about it but I really want to shift the weight now.

Head seems to be in the right place this time....finally.

Determined to try and get a solid run (well probably with the odd little treat) right up until Easter as I HAVE to be a bit more slack then....can't not scoff cadbury eggs....mmmm

im impressed at your splitting your chocolate up-im an all or nothing sort of girl, i eat it all to get it out of the way lol :-(

your dinner sounds yum-we are having a big steak dinner tonight-i'm going to calorie count today to try and limit myself without completely messing up my points-eating normally at work then i'll enjoy my dinner and a little bit of chocolate too :)
