2014 weight loss challenge

Lost one pound this week. Was hoping for more but I'm going to stop having goals in my head other than my end goal. A healthy loss is 0.5 - 2lb on weight watchers so I'm never going to do 2lb every week! I've been 100% on plan so I'm doing my best. Going to go easier on myself. Can someone please update the list to say I've now lost 4lb THANK YOU XX

I have same issue. My waist can fit a size smaller than my bum and thigh's...pain in the bum.

I think I may be more of an hourglass though as GG's up top apparently balance out the hips lol

Well at least ur balanced - not word anyone wd use to describe me!!

I am a hourglass hate the size of my thigh's and my boobs at the moment are so big make running hard. I never seem to loss weight from my boobs first always the last to go.

It's a pain isn't it but it'll come off everywhere in the end and u'll be running in those lycra short and bra top thingies!!

To be honest I didn't feel like an eight. At my biggest I was a sixteen/eighteen and naively thought that if I was a size ten I'd have the great body with flat stomach etc, but no, it doesn't work like that lol. I have lots of size eight and ten jeans that don't fit me at the minute, I'm using the same four pairs of trousers that are big tens/normal 12s. I always vowed I'd never buy a size bigger again but I had to. It's lovely when you lose weight and get to try on the clothes that were too small that now fit, it's like free shopping lol

I know it's all so personal and we all have our own goals but I'd give my right arm to be in 10s/12s right now - however big they were! Keep at it and u'll be in those 'free' clothes soon!

Well done - I know how u feel when u've had a good week but ur not quite happy with the scales - but u may lose more next wk - our bodies don't always give us what we want when we want it eh?

Thanks CatA and upndown x might try and use very little/none of my weeklies - see how I go. I only get 26 daily points so I might struggle. Probably being very unrealistic here !! It's VERY unlikely

this is so true!!

newme-its hard on the 26 isn't it? i dread having to drop my weeklies, i really need them at the minute to stay sane!! i would recomend dropping them slowly though, if u drop them altogether or have very few of them, then you won't have much wiggle room if your weight decides to plateau down the line, if you know what i mean? a pound is great but i totally feel you-i want to jump on the scales and magically drop five pound every week, even though i know it'll never happen lol. i know the 1-2 pound thing is healthy and the right way to do things, but it doesn't stop me wanting big losses every week lol. i've definitely noticed my losses are slower this time round-thats why i really want it off now, i don't want to be struggling to lose weight as i get older, its hard enough as it is! :-(

Completely agree about it being harder this time round. I'm 32 and was 29 last time I lost a significant amount of weight and I'm seeing a much slower pace this time round.

If only we could go back to our younger selves and tell them how much harder it will be....not sure if I'd listen though lol

Might try and end the week with at least a few weeklies left- I'm having my WI day treat tonight - 16pp worth of blissful cadbury fruit and nut - helloooo!! Can. Not. Wait. :)

Unclejohnboy- welcome to this thread, you'll find lots of support here :) which plan are you going to follow ? My friend lost 6 stone in a year so YES YOU CAN DO IT !!! Good luck ! You'll be grand x

I will be following the Green Days more as my wife says she wanted to be part of it and she only likes chicken! I will put a couple of SE days in a week on my side though. If anyone has some suggestions I will appreciate it!

Oh enjoy. I've WI tomorrow and then treat night with my boyfriend who's been working the last two evenings. I might go for the alcoholic variety of treat :)

OOOH that'll be tough (or wd be for me) but if u think u can do it - go for it!!

Yes newme it is.

Yup snap. Am 35 this time...last time round I was 27 and it just dropped off with quite a bit of cheating still!

I'm 27 now,did ww for the first time at 19 then again at 25, even the two years between 25 and 27 I notice a big dif, although I was doing discover plan not propoints so that might have made a dif, back then I was cheating often but 2 pound losses were still regular!

I'd love to lose 3.5 pounds over the next two weeks to get me to my first mini goal a bit quicker,I'm in a good frame of mind now so kinda wanna make up for my faffing in jan!
