Hello everyone,
I hope you all are very well.

I am looking to lose quite abit of weight, im 5"6 and around 14.10st and would like to be back to 9st i look my best at around 8.7lb but i think 9st is probably more sustainable :)
I'm also very much needing to get this weight off, im 21 and haven't left the house to socialise in years as i feel to fat to be out, i know i have to work in the self-esteem but getting the weight off is the main thing for me.
I want to get the first 2st off pretty quickly to test my strength and get over my binge eating disorder.
Therefore any recommendations of diets would be fantastic, i'd love to loose the first 2st in about 6-7ish weeks.
I can't join any groups as i am going back and fourth all the time and i don't have the money for them as im a student,
but any that you can buy online or from stores i'd be great with.

Hiya,

I'm a student too. I guess I can only talk from my expearance. Well done on coming on and not only posting but deciding to take this first step. For me eating has always been a mode of controle. I learned the hard way that what ever I am, I still have my close friends and family.
Life is quite short, and I used to wish it away when in class. Now coming up to 30 I'm thinking holy cr*p how can I be so old, what Have I done with my life. So your not happy with your size, but wareing something nice you could still look fantastic and still have loads of fun. Who cares what other people say, because people will always find something to pick on.

I regret wasting so much time on the small things. If I had eaten a healthy diet and had a healthy lift style I would never have gotten in this mess. I think those are good habbits to learn.
I think the best diet but not the fastest would be learning a new healthy life style, getting people around you to help. Nothing thats ever worth it is easy.

You could try something like slim fast, I don't like the taste. How do you think you would get on with healthy eating with some exercise? like i said It would take longer. Sure you know muscle weighs more than fat, but toning would not be an issue?

the recondation for healthy weight lose is 3lb a week. so in 7 weeks you could loose a stone and a half if you are able to work hard at it?
Very low calorie diets when done properly can work fast, not sure how healthy they actually are but they are expencive, the one I'm doing is £42 a week :O :O but then really I would spend about that on food.
sometimes I wonder if being thin will make me feel more confadent and happerier. Or just a thiner version of me.
Do you find exam time hard work? I end up eating rubish for quickness while I revise. No idea how to get out of that. I did start keeping fruit in insted. But I ended up eating it all in one night lol.

Short vertion, I don't think there is a fast cheep healthy way to loose weight. But Good luck with what ever you start, and I would like to hear about how your getting on.
I actually think if you google things like scottish slimers you might be able to find their recipys online. That might help for healthy meal ideas. But there is loads of healthy meal ideas kicking about hear.

Good luck :)

I already eat healthy, i don't eat alot day to day, i suffer from binge eating disorder and when i binge, i binge bad.. hense why i want to do some extreme to see if i can break the habbit as if i can do that they i can get rid of this eating disorder. I want to stay away from slim fast due to its very very high sugar content, i was thinking maybe making my own protein shakes and adding different things to each one to get my nutrients?
I know for a fact i will be happy slimmer, maybe not as slim as i would like but not as big as i am now im very uncomfortable with it.
Congrats on your weight loss thus far :)
