Hey Abz.

Hope your having a good time at your Dad's.

hey there guys. here's to a fresh start on monday :)

i daren't get on the scales. ha. i'm dreading being weighed tomorrow night. i just really hope i haven't put on more than half a stone but i really think that's wishful thinking. i've been terrible at drinking my water too. waaargh. and carb level high? i'm going to feel awful for days!! and i have four ten hour shifts ahead of me... oops...

well i just had my last supper, which, of course, was pizza. i never learn. roll on tomorrow so i can get on with it!! i'm off to bed now before i can do any more damage!!

night guys. tomorrow is a brand new day!!

abz xx

Tomorrow is a new day for me too! It's my first weigh in for 2 weeks, I've had everything under the sun that I shouldn't have over the hols, including a deep fried mars bar, and a whole bottle of baileys......I think I've gained 7 - 10lbs....but I got engaged too so I don't care!! I'll get the weight back off :) (Just keep the extra few stones on my finger)

congratulations on your engagement babes :D

i got onto the scales this morning to discover i am close to a stone heavier. i am more than slightly constipated and have been terrible wtih water. and it is totm. but i reckon without all that it would still be about 10lbs... so not looking forward to tonight at all!! it's my birthday on the 24th jan and i want to go wedding dress shopping on the 31st jan so i want to get down into a proper size 16 by then. so it's skates on and rushing to the finish line so to speak...

i need to ring to make wedding dress appointments, suit fitting appointments for thomas and his best man, florist appointments and ring around some people to get the boiler serviced. does anyone know what is the usual to pay for a boiler servicing? and do british gas do them?

Hi Abz

Here's to moving those pesky pounds squatting where they don't belong x

good luck with your restart hun what are you gonna do?? ss??

its my daughters birthday on the 23rd jan.lol.

when do you get married.

Hi Abz, those pesky pounds will soon drop off. You and me are off and running. Good luck today and tonight.

Love

thanks guys. i'm getting married on the 18th July su.

i am doing ss yes. although after all those carbs over christmas it's going to be a nightmare!!

i'm currently trying to find somebody who can sit in my house while somebody fixes my boiler as i'm working all week. not sure if they can come at the weekend. so trying to get it sorted for tmw, but of course everybody is working... so we may have to wait a while. still. best customer services ever from the british gas boiler chap. he has even rung me back to check on whether i found anyone as it's so busy over there and he's ringing back in about half an hour. even if he's getting commision that's dedication for you!! ha.

Very dedicated! British Gas are generally pretty good, from what i've seen when we've called them out.

Abz, having seen your incredible will power in Brum I KNOW that you can absolutely get those pounds off in time, so don't get yourself down! Just concentrate on getting that boiler fixed cos, don't know about you, but it's blooming freezing in these here parts ;)

Hey Abz - sorry about the boiler, hope you get it sorted soon.....and those extra lbs (we all have them) will be gone soon enough - keep on glugging. x

Exciting times coming up (apart from the boiler issue :8855:).

My niece (Abigail) is 3 on 24th so you're (she's!) in very good company. ;)

Good luck with the restart. x :D

18th July - that's 4 days after my 36th wedding anniversary (OMG I'm old) x

ooh, a namesake with the same birthday as me :D
my aunty, myself and my cousin all have the same birthday too. woohoo :) although it does mean that the older you get the less presents you get, ha. it's my cousin's turn now :D

well, i am very happy to report that i only gained 8.5lbs by my cdc's scales, which are the ones that count. thinking about it i took my gain just before going to the cdc's as a stone, but then i usually weigh myself first thing on a morning totally naked after a wee, hee. so that will account for some of the difference. i'm starting to get hungry but don't want to have my first shake yet. have had a coffee and have brought two litres of fizzy water to work with me as i find it much easier to drink. am about to get glugging on the first glass. today will be my first full day on sole source. it was supposed to be yesterday but me and OH decided that we would have a nice meal the evening before going back to work. so i only sole sourced for most of it... but it was a decision rather than a 'sod it' so no worries. hopefully i'll be rid of most of that by monday when i get weighed.

oh. and someone is coming to fix the boiler next tuesday morning before i go to work in the afternoon. not sure what i'll do if they run late...

That's still a week away Abz. Are you totally without heating and hot water are is there a back up? Sounds pretty dire to me. My daughter in the wilds of the Welsh countryside is without running water at the moment due to frozen pipes from the pump. She always uses bottles for drinking water as the spring the water comes from has been tested and not safe but it's the washing machine and the toilet (!) They have to get buckets from the river. The only heating is 2 coal fires in the whole house

Squatter situation not too bad Abz - they soon leave x

howdy guys.

no, we have heating and kind of possibly maybe luke warm water. it's more that the boiler won't light from the thermostat and it needs a service to get rid of gunk so the water heats up again. we can light it. it just takes forever...

abz xx

Phew - I thought you were there "Up North" with no heating. Glad you're not x

ha. we were the night we got back from scotland. and it was so so cold. two duvets and two person's worth of body heat and pjs and huge socks and i still slept with my head under the duvet and we were like ice. but it's one hell of an effort to get it going!!
