Abi's weightloss diary - post jaw surgery

LOL, mean and nasty scales abz.

hee.

well my fingers are so cold i'm considering having my soup now instead of waiting until 12... warm me up a bit. don't want to have coffee again just yet. i'll be bouncing all over the place!!

so think i'll go and make it. will waste a bit of time in any case!!

Cold fingers in this lovely weather abz?

it's one of the lovely side effects of ketosis whilst on cambridge jim. cold hands and feet. i'm bloody frozen. if you see people wandering around in woolly jumpers in the sunshine chances are they are on cd...

abz xx

Hmmm, I never felt that way on Atkins, strange 'cos I know I was in Ketosis, mid you at 25 stone+ you don't really feel the cold. :D

ha. maybe not jim :) i think the super low calories contribute too. i mean, i'm only on 450 cals a day :)

well i'm finally on my lunch break. it has taken it's time...

i've had 1.5 litres of water so far today so that's going well and i have another coffee to warm up my insides :) i'd forgotten how much coffee i drink when on CD... it just can't be right!! ha. i suppose i could get decaff but somehow that just doesn't seem right either :)

have finally managed to book an appointment with my florist next week so that will be another huge weight off my mind as i haven't chosen a single flower. i need serious help with it, ha.

so i'm going to toddle along with a photo of my dress and the bridesmaid dresses and we can go from there.

the sensible thing would be be all conventional and have roses but i'm starting to feel that this is going to be such a conventional wedding for me, and i feel a bit claustrophobic, so i might have to see if they've got some zany red flowers i can use as it all seems a bit too sensible!!

Thats the problem with being quirky, conventional just doesn't seem to sit right! Had to do alot of compromising with my OH when we got married as he was a traditionl morning suit, church wedding kinda guy & I wanted a red dress & everything away from the 'norm'! At the end of the day our mix & match wedding worked very well!

My flowers were fushia pink & bright orange gerberas except for my bouquet, which were pink & orange slipper orchids!

You'll have lots of fun choosing flowers... you can kinda go wild but in an understated way!

Well done on doing so well on CD... I'm feeling the cold today but after yesterdays blip I know its not ketosis making me that way!

Thanks for your message on my diary... I have every faith in myself today that I'll be 100%. xxx

thanks honey :)

i figured that even if my bouquet was conventional i could have fun with the flowers on the tables or something. i just feel a bit like if i don't break out of the box i'm going to go loony!! i have got a slightly unconventional dress with the red bits they are adding for me, but i seem to have gone a bit over the top conventional. i wanted stylish and lovely but think i have gone a little too far... ha.

abz xx

so do i :) i was originally going to try and get those, but i've gone off lilies a bit... am going to say i want some interesting red flowers and see what they say. it could be that when i see what they'll do with roses i'll like it :)

abz xx

you know, i've been looking at red wedding bouquet photos. i like the shower ones. but most surprising, all the ones i've liked have been red lilies and red roses. so i may have roses after all, ha. but at least i know i can like them without them being too traditional.

and i'm going without my mum so at least i'll be able to make a decision without her butting in. i appreciate her opinion. the problem is i end up feeling guilty for not going with it. which is how i ended up with my wedding dress (although that was the right choice and i needed her to do that one or i would have ended up in a leather trenchcoat :D) but also how i've ended up with this image of traditional flowers too... so woo. red lilies and roses. sure i can manage something like that. i would also like to point out that the flowers i did choose when i thought i was having a different dress weren't the ones my mum liked, ha, but i did feel bad about it. now i just won't tell her :D

Hey Abz day 11 wow fantastic hunni, well done.xxx

thanks su. the challenge continues. OH is making me an apple and cinnamon porridge for my dinner :)

have had 3 litres so far today but am thirsty now so will have to have some more before i go to bed. saying that, that's only an hour and a half away. i don't like going over four litres but find it really easy to drink loads of water when at home on the pc...

Morning Abbi, how's tricks today?

i am soooooooooooooo tired jim!!

couldn't sleep again last night. i thought i could just drift off after getting out of the bath but it was only 8, so i thought i'd wait a bit longer. 9.30 came and went, as did 10, possibly 11, i don't know... all i know is that i'm shattered and didn't want to get out of bed this morning!!

today is day 12 on cd. so the numbers are ticking up nicely :) i am on my first cup of coffee and glass of water.

tonight i will be watching a dvd i ordered or cleaning the house. depends on whether the dvd arrives or not. the cleaning has to be done either tonight or tomorrow night. it's driving me mad and someone is coming to stay on friday and the place is a heap!!

abz xx

Are you still on Holiday or are you working today love?

working jim. second day out of four. can't believe i've only been back one day. am already going mad with asp and sql that won't work (date loops) and it feels like the week has been very long, but it's only been 10 hours, ha.

abz xx

Can't help with asp but SQL date loops shouldn't be a problem. Which SQL are you using though, MS is crap with dates.
