i went to see the nurse, and as i thought i was i was sent away feeling a little silly as it's probably some kind of allergy. i've never been allergic to anything in my life. no clue what it could be... they are still there but fading, so will see how it goes. maybe it was the blueberries?
i'm getting out of leeds this weekend we are off to stay with friends in york. i totally forgot it was the festival this weekend. because i arrive at work at 7am i miss the wellied lot traipsing through the city
i have never been to leeds festival. have always wanted to go to one, but leeds has gotten far too expensive and it's a bit close to home. think i'll have to travel. maybe i'll invite myself to go to one with tazzi
am looking forward to this weekend going to stay with one of my best mates from school and her husband to be just got a text from her asking if i can eat peppers and butternut squash, ha. i am so going to have to take my own food

oh hell yeah!!
just me and my super in today so it should be a fairly easygoing day. i can do the work that crops up without the guys monopolising on it together, which also means it will get documented and they can continue with it. i swear i spend half my time redoing something that's already been done because i didn't know, or trying to find out where something is that's been half done because they haven't logged it. it's my biggest gripe!! ha.
have fixed someone's machine, done some call testing and discovered a new call flow problem already today

well then i get grief for not having finished something jim. but if i don't know where they've kept their progress spreadsheet, or how far they've gotten through stress testing a machine, or indeed where the hell they are stress testing a machine, then i get annoyed. it just wastes my time. whereas they tell each other. and if i happen to be at my desk they seem to assume that i am listening to every word they say, but if i'm up to my eyeballs in loops i usually need a prod to bring my back to earth...

I'm still finishing my coffee in bed lol. Gunna have a late day today, 10-6, and hope the Leeds traffic is less chaotic at 9.40am. Best get up and washed. I'll say hello to the Uni for you Abz, I work opposite the Parkinson building!
How's the Atkins going? You finding it ok? I'm really in the swing of the Cambridge now, hopefully I can stick to it this time.

atkins is going ok. i'm going to ring the opticians when they open at 10 and see if they happen to have a cancellation for tomorrow morning, otherwise it will have to be next thursday when i'm off work. i have vouchers for an eyetest from work somewhere in my house. where? no bloody clue!! hopefully i can find them!! ha. hopefully that will sort out these headaches because they are driving me insane!!
