Hi there. Welcome to Minimins and Slimming World too! I'm pretty new round here too. I can't recommend SW enough! I really love it! I am a student, so often eat out/buy lunch out with friends, and I cant imagine another weightloss plan that I would be able to socialise as freely as I do with SW, so from this point it's great for me. When I joined in August, I also had around 3.5 stone to lose. I have now lost 3 stone of that. Technically speaking, I should probably be at target now, but since my exams in January I have lost motivation a bit for various reasons, mainly comfort eating I think, and have kept losing and putting on the same few lbs. But I'm back on the straight and narrow I think! i think the best thing about SW is that even when you don't have a huge amount of weight to lose it seems to work! I think the best advice I can try to give you is - use all the syns you are allocated, try to use them for treats as opposed to just using them because you can i.e. on something you'll enjoy, remember to fill your plate with at least 1/3 Superfree and stay for Image Therapy ( In the two groups I've been a member of, it seems to be the ones that stay for IT that have the best losses week on week, might be to do with motivation) and try not to weigh yourself more than once a week.
