I've got a Braun stick blender and a Hinari Genie (like KD's magic bullet) and both are easy peasy to clean

Some people are never happy!!!!! No more pots and pans, dishes, plates etc to scrub clean .... and she moans about cleaning a blender!!!!!!!

I've got both too... and, I must confess, there have been times when I have put on the dishwasher half full just so that I wouldn't have to wash them up myself!!!

Ain't that the truth!!!!!Have you noticed if you don't rinse your blender jug straight away the left over shake sets to the hardest substance known to man? I share your pain

I do a rinse after every shake and then once a week it goes in the dishwasher for a super rinse!!

I've got both too... and, I must confess, there have been times when I have put on the dishwasher half full just so that I wouldn't have to wash them up myself!!!

hey all
How posh are all you peoples with your dishwashers, i cant afford a dishwasher LOL.
Its even more of a pain in the ass in this house because my OH is doing CD too and he leaves his dirty blender for me to wash so i have to clean it use it for myself then clean it again i think i end up with the raw deal here everytime LOL

I have to confess I have a dishwasher too. But find it a right bind to clean it if I need to use the blender before the dishwasher is full.
Gosh that must be so annoying!! Deffinately try and get there first. And put the powder in first so that it leaves more to clean at the bottom just to teach him a lesson
Or dont clean it after you use it, so when he needs to use it again he will get annoyed that he has to clean it and may realise the benefits of cleaning it straight after use!Do you know what i hate? Making the frigging milkshakes. God its such a pain in the ass! Taking the fibre tables, measuring out the water, making sure you pour all the milkshake powder out of the sachets, putting the lid on the blender, scrapping off lumps after blending. Then the hastle of washing the damn blender!! I have really started to take the milkshakes later and later as its such a mision to have it!

Note to important CD people - sort out the blender situation. Free dishwasher with first months worth or sachets (or free man willing to clean)
Oi, and bev - no more plates/dishes? I drink my shakes from a glass - equally a pain to clean!!
