Big daddy burger help?

    Hi all,

    Well I had a go at making the Big Daddy Burger tonight.. Seemed simple enough!

    however, they just would not bind no matter what I did and broke even worse while cooking, then the outside cooked and charred before the inside cooked. All in all an utter disaster. Can anybody offer any tips please?!

    If you were making a non SW burger there would be something else to bind the mince, such as flour or bread, all I can suggest next time is don't flip the burgers often or bake in the oven.;)

    Try adding homemade breadcrumbs? 1 slice 400g wholemeal is 3 syns. Just toast and either grate or put it the blender

    Sorry if I'm Necro'ing the thread but sometimes if you mix onion, mince and the egg, chilling it can help it bind. :)
