I think it's ambient rather than dry so I guess it wouldn't be free no. But I could be wrong!

Is it the ready cooked stuff in a pouch that just needs to be heated up in the pouch? If so, no, it's syns :-( It's preserved in oils.
I get boil in the bag cos I am a disaster at making rice. Asda do a good one for 4 pouches at around 90p, each pouch serves 2 generously. Tesco do a similar thing too.

they have sins but not very many, and i take the special fried rice microwave ones into work for a quick grab and go lunch.

I asked about this a while back, Uncle Bens Basmati pouch was 2 syns and the long grain pouch was 1 syn on green (I only do green, so I dont know about red!). Hope this helps
