Can somebody explain the bars to me please?

I'm wondering whether or not to go onto a bar a day next week, but I'm worried it will make me want more food. At the moment I quite like the fact that food isn't even in the equation, it's nice and simple just doing my shakes. But knowing how much I love food, it does concern me a little bit that I might go off course a bit once I introduce some real food that I can actually chew and I'm doing really well at the moment, haven't cheated at all and stuck to it with no problems. After saying that, I really want the bars!!!!!

Also, is it true that it can make you constipated. And does it slow down your weight loss at all?

They make some people want food so they stay away from them & for some people (including me) they make you feel sane & are enough to keep you on plan.

They make people the opposite of constipated usually, which is why only 1 a day is recommended.

The chewy ones have slightly more carbs than other stuff but the crunchy ones, from memory, are about the same as everything else. If it helps, I've lost 3st 10lbs since Jan 31, including my 810 wk & I have a bar a day. Without fail.
 
the bars are yummy hun but you need to ask yourself how strong you feel before getting them, if you feel you might slip then dont take the risk however if u feel strong then id say its worth a try. I had them from my 2nd week + im a series chocaholic!!! 1 bar didnt seem enough for me + 2 of the days i had them it 'triggerd' me to have an extra bar that day instead of a shake. I want to stay in ketosis too much to eat something not allowed. But then today i just said to myself 'get a grip, if you cant control yourself + just have 1 a day then im not getting any more' hahaha! and that seem to do the trick :) id rather have 1 a day than none! although i really dont understant why i cant have 3 crunchy 1's a day it makes no sence to me at all.. only few extra cals + same carb content so dont get it :S maybe theres more fibre but thats a good thing surely? anyways good luck + let me no how u get on :) i reccomend peanut + mint choc if u decide to get them x
 
Agree with your recommendations Malibu. Due to illness I had 2bars per day last week & I had very bad stomach problems & for the first time since January actually felt hungry. One a day is recommendes because of the malitol which can cause stomach problems. Glad to be back to 1 a day although hate tetras in comparison.
 
I introduced bars in week 5 only cos i felt the same was worried about adding 'real food' but i need not have worried cos like with Annie they keep me sane and it feels like i am having a little treat every day =D
 
They do make me slightly hungrier but are worth it for me as they are a cure to constipation and taste great.
