I like it on its own as a curry, is with rice. Could also add it into the mushy pea curry recipe. My oh loves this as an accompaniment to a normal curry like a side dish so you could have it say with a sw veg or chicken curry. Persony I mainly have it on its own for lunch - Boring but lush!

Cook a pack of batchelors curry rice, when cooked whisk 4 eggs add to the rice and add the chick pea dahl mix together then put in a loaf tin and cook on gas mark for about 30-40 mins it's lush and nice with salad or sw chips. Hope this helps x

I've just had chick pea dahl loaf for tea after seeing the recipe here this morning. Omg it was soooooooooo good!! I had a massive portion with a jacket spud and baked beans. Yumscriddlydicious! Thanx for a fantastic recipe, I've a feeling I'm going to be making this quite often xx
