Chinese - Urgent Help lol

Friends have just turned up so no longer having my planned tea. I think I remember chow mein isn't too bad but how many points specifically for mushroom chow mein and a portion of chips from a Chinese takeaway please. And is the points for the whole tray. Any other points for Chinese favourites would be handy too

I found that mushroom chow mein is 4.5 and chips are 7.5 for whole tray and whole bag. Do these points seems right to you?

If so really can't believe how good points wise Chinese is.

erm i don't think the chips are just 7.5 tbh, what you have to base it on i find is 7.5points is for 170g of chips from chippy, and we use that guide for chinese chips too you still get a fair few chips though! whole bag is probably between 12 / 15 points maybe? i find it hard to believe that 7.5 is for the whole bag lol so always go by the chippy way

I looked on the eating out guide and it said small chips 7.5 and regular 9.5 from chip shop I think. What is regular classed as then, I thought it would be just the whole bag, but then it seems so low still.

when it states small chips it does not mean a "Small portion" of chips from the chipshop. It means an actual small portion of chips. Meaning a small amount, a medium amount or a large amount.
If we are honest with ourselves a chip shop small portion really is enough for 2/3 people usually. Weighing is best is best with the chips because peoples and chipshop portion vary so much.

Ah right yes I've never thought about it like that. So how many points in a bag of chinese chips would you say and also chip shop chips. Thank you it's made it much clearer now

chip shop chips it's usually about a cone ishhh, i'd probably buy a cone, then take a handful away and that's a small portion! But it is best to go weigh them in case, cause some places may use different ingredients so will weigh different to each individual place xxx
