Hi Millux, I also put on a lot of weight in a short period-4st 5 in 21 months including 3 attempts on s.w in that period! Like Big H I knew the only way forward for me was cold turkey and off the food and booze,the results were amazing 4st 12 in just under 4 months including 3 planned off plan days. I also agree with Big H that the ability to stop the binge cycle is just as satisfying as the weight loss,within a couple of days I stopped hating myself!
Admittedly I chose to come off over xmas and am choosing to have a few naughty weekends and treats for various reasons until March,but I still have so much more control than before,for example I do put on a couple of pounds at weekend,but then good in week -I would still never think of buying myself treats every time I pass the local spar,nor would I go back to a bottle of wine each night.
If I came off sw at weekend I would never get back on,but cd is a tool I can rely on to get rid of my weekend excess so have the motivation to jump back on 100 per cent in the week-so although my demons are still lurking at weekends as I say I have some control that I had previously lost.

I know that come March when I have no excuses to choose to be naughty at weekend cd will once again shift my holiday gain(whatever that will be) and more.
