Please :)

I picked them up yesterday while shopping in the states and they look pretty low syn wise, even if they are small.

Chicken and Apple Sausages:

Nutrition Info per sausage (32g)
calories: 60
total fat: 2.5g
sat fat: 1g
total carb: 4g
Protein: 6g
(this is the only info on them)

Chicken and Herb Sausage:

Nutrition Info per sausage (32g)
calories: 50
total fat: 3g
sat fat: 1g
total carb: 0g
Protein: 6g

thank you

Hi, just put through the syn calculator and came out:

Chicken and apple - 3 syns all plans
chicken and herb -2.5 syns all plans

eeek is that with selecting chicken as a free food, as that is about 80% of the ingredient?? and they are completely nature ingredients no artificial rubbish as I bought them from Whole foods in their organic section.

seems like a lots of syns for such a such a small sausage and little calories.

oo didn't put chicken as free food as was not sure if the chicken in them would be free? will give that a try then

That's without any free food allowance just using 1 syn = 20 calories rule.

The one's I buy are 73ish calories each and are only 1 syns each and they are pork! A very fatty meat.

I think yours will be less than that to be honest xxx

thats what I am thinking Allie, I bought a similar sausage before which was slightly more on the nutritional information which was 1/2 syn for 2.

I was thinking my son will have to have them if they are that much, as they are tiny.

Was planning on doing a pasta dish for dinner with them.

Unfortunately they don't do proper pork english sausages here that are low fat. I miss the bowyer's one. I used to love my sausages with onion gravy using them.
