dissapointing weigh in

I had my weigh in this morning and I've only lost half a pound :cry: I've been sticking to the rules 100% so I don't know why it's such a small loss. I know when I used to do slimming world my losses would be much bigger when I stuck to the diet 100%. I weighed myself yesterday and it said I had lost 1lb but then when I weighed this morning for my actual weigh in day it said 0.5lb. I know a loss is a loss but it's really disheartening for me when I've been so good. I did a quick measurement of my waist this morning and I have lost nearly 2 and a half inches in 2 weeks so I suppose that's something. :confused:

Aww hun try not to be too upset! Like you said a loss is still a loss...and 2 n half inches I'd fab!! I'm not measuring my inches n stuff.

aww hun,i know how you feel,but im sure next week will be better :) theres a ladt here, Joany who measures her waist and sometimes she has small losses but then her waist has gone down,so maybe thats whats happened..

2.1/2 inches of the waist is fabulous, especially in 2 weeks!! well done!! thats something to be proud of and a real achievement :)

if you wanted to restart sw with the xenical then you could if you wanted to do that, something to think about.

Keep going hun,dont give up...you can do this :)

Thanks guys. I know you're both right about the inches but we all like to see the scales moving down aswell. I should just focus on the positives and not dwell on it too much. I'll keep plodding along and see what next week brings.

Bunnyhops I think if I were to go back to slimming world I would do it without the tablets. At least then I could have low fat cheese, oily fish, red meat and other foods that are a no no on this plan. I'm going to carry on with the xenical for now anyway and try to up my water intake to see if that makes a difference. xx

You've lost 8 lbs in 3 weeks which is a good loss.

Feeling disapointed over a .5 weightloss was the main reason I decided I didn't want to weigh weekly as it generally looks better over a month. Haven't been able to stick to monthly though!

I know, it's so hard to try not to weigh yourself all the time. I had a sneaky look this morning just to see if it was the same as yesterday and I'm 4lbs down from yesterday! I'm not going to update my ticker though because Thursdays my official weigh in day. I'm definately going to weigh myself once a week from now on, no more sneaky peeks!

well i will tell you off for sneeky peeking but i do it so im not one to talk... depending on the monthly cycle you have you will hold more water than usual as well...
i dont usually put on weight during my period, but mor in the middle of my cycle (prob about the time i ovulate) so its frustrating....

keep to a weekly look, and im sure you will get there... dont be disheartend... keep being good and you will get rewards.
