Friday was a rubbish day - i was so tired - softplay got cancelled, went toning tables and we now have to start exercising whilst using the beds - not so easy now lol! By time we got home I had 70mins to have dinner and get ready for theatre - so literally threw some chips in the actifry - really not a healthy dinner but needs must

Birds of a Feather was very funny but I was so uncomfy - I had to take my Uggs and socks off - thought I was going to pass out - thankfully there were empty seats right next to me so i was able to spread myself out, I think I worried my poor mum mad but I just coulnd;t sit still

Bloody freezer has broken - it is crammed full!!!!

**** you were worried about that the other day
any chance of family friends having some space even if for the special stuff
all meath thaw it slowly then you can refreeze it as you have changed its state - hopefully with a slow thaw and a couple of days in the fridge then cooking it you will have the freezer fixed or a new one in its place

this is really odd - but yes the freezer has broken - thankfully only the ice cream had defrosted and some casserole steak which i will cook up for dinner today

right i have one of those big american fridge freezers and the fan has broken so basically everything in the bottom half of it and the bottom of fridge will remain frozen so i have to shfit the veg and fruit to the top of my freezer and the top couple of shelves to the bottom of the fridge - that way i won't lose anything (fingers crossed)

the fan is on order unfortuantely our repair man is in spain so it won;t be fit until at least a week tomorrow

but it will give me a chance to use some food up...i promise no tesco this week
 
had a really good workout on the toning tables - an argument broke out between a vile woman and the owner's son - he handled it so well - the nasty woman had no knickers on and you could see right thru her leggings ... yuk! made me want to bleach the beds that she used

kids due back any minute now - so am enjoying last couple of mins peace without them
 
put the money you save by not going to tescos into a pot for a family treat - obviously you might need to 'top up' on eggs bread and milk but take the money out of the bank as if it were a normal shop then use the cash and what is left can be a family treat :)

Love your food pictures too, that steak, chips and mushrooms looks lovely. Definatly something I need to have for tea this week

630g lean steak (cubed or cut into strips) 743cals
0.5 teaspoons minced ginger 2cals
2 cloves garlic, minced 8cals
3/4 cup soy sauce 101 cals
3/4 cup water 0 cals
3/4 cup brown sugar 622
0.5 cup shredded carrots (i grated mine cos hubby hates carrots) 23
3 medium green onions, chopped (132)
chilli flakes (optional)

Mix soy, sugar, ginger, garlic and water well. Add all ingredients to slowcooker - cook on low 5-6 hours

This was absolutely delish - next time I will try sweetner instead of brown sugar which would reduce calories drastically

Sounds delish but how much sweetener would've use instead of the brown sugar?
