It is if you remove the skin. There's an awful lot of fat in duck, so you might need to keep draining the fat out of the slow cooker as it cooks out, otherwise your duck will be almost deep-fried!
Are you able to raise the duck up off the bottom of the cooker, so the duck isn't sitting it it's own fat? Maybe perched on some egg-cups?
Duck scares me. Dont even know what it tastes like. Enjoy let us know how it goes

Duck is absolutely gorgeous!

I reckon the egg-cups should be ok, I used plates and bowls and things in the oven every now and then and so far it's all been ok.
