Eating but not loosing

I am doing EE for 21/2 weeks now and with ups and downs have NOTHING lost.

Foods eaten:

Muller lights
porridge (35g Hexb)
Milk (250ml low fat Hexa)
potatoe
turnip
peppers
asparagus
cauliflower
brocolli
BNS
Eggs-hardboled, fried(frylite)
Scan bran
Rice pudding (water, splenda and muller light)
Raspberries
oranges
apples
banana(2-3 a week)
pineapple
chicken
pork
beef

More than 1/3 of each meal was veg and fruit.
I have not had any butter, cheese, cake, crisps, biscuits, sweets, ice cream etc.
Drinking water although not enough I'd say.

I have not limited my consumption of mullers or rice, so I am assuming that is why I am not loosing. So certain foods do need to be limited.

Anyone any ideas or go through similar?
I am 46yrs, 5ft 3 weigh 9st 10lb, tiny frame. Was 8st until the last few years.

What have you used your Syns on? You need it use them - they aid weight loss.

I personally found I couldn't eat the rice pudding that people love on here & loose, nor can I eat bread, even as my hex & loose, and I also don't eat any more than 1 mullerlights right a day.

Tbh, without seeing how your meals are made up, I can't really give much advice. On the face if it you seem to be eating enough super free, but if you are snacking on muller lights & rice pudding I suspect you might not be eating enough at meal times.

There is also the possibility that you are just the weight you are meant to be!

Could you give us an example of a typial days meal plans and that might help us give a better insight.

I am also 5' 3" and now weigh 8st 9lbs (from 10st 3) and do green days.

8.30am
porridge with water and muller light (Hexb)
mandarin, banana and blackberries

10.45
baked potato with lots red pepper

muller light and mandarin
milk in coffee through out day (Hexa)

1.00
2 egg ommlette with 2 rashers,(3 or 4 syns) broccolli
mandarin, blackberries and apple

mullerlight

4.30
potato x 2
pork chop
turnip, carrots, brocolli, cauliflower
Rice pudding orange

6.00
muller and sugar free jelly
apple

8.00
muller and fruit

rice

This is more or less a typical day, I haven't added extra syns as I wanted to have the rice and mullers.
I cannot see how unlimited rice is allowed.

So fed up right now

Personally I'd ditch the 10.45 meal-if ur filling up at breakfast u shouldn't need more than fruit at this time, although the food is all free its the superfree that aid the weightloss so try swapping that meal for superfree snacks x

I see in a previous post you say that you are eating 5 mullers a day. I would recommend that you choose superfree snacks rather than reaching for a muller - which is what the extra easy plan recommends. (I know we don't count calories on SW, but that's around 500 calories in yoghurt).

I'm sorry to say it, but because you're already at a healthy weight, I suspect you're going to have to follow the plan more to the letter than someone with more weight to lose.

ETA: posted at the same time as you posted your food diary. So yes, I'd say that the mullers are the problem! Also, snacking on rice. Snack on superfree rather than free food and I'm sure you'll start seeing weight loss :)

By my reckoning that's 6 mullerlights in a day, which is a lot - 600 calories!. I would cut back to no more than two a day.

And I'm a bit surprised at the frequency with which you are eating and the amount you are snacking on. Did you really feel so hungry 2 hours after breakfast that you needed to have a baked potato? And you had a meal with dessert at 4.30 but an hour and a half later you had to have yoghurt, jelly and fruit, and again 2 hours after that with some rice. What are your portion sizes like at meal times that you are hungry so soon afterwards?

Okay. Bluntly. - that's far too much food. 5 muller lights is 500 calls on their own. I don't understand why you need to eat a baked potato, and a muller light, and some fruit mid morning. One of them fine, even 2 of them, but all 3? You are basically eating 4 decent sized meals a day, plus snacks a day. At a rough calculation I reckon you are probably having at least 2000 cals a day based on the above.

No food is unlimited on SW - it's eat until you are satisfied, not fit to burst. Its a difficult thing to figure out at first.
You should also be eating superfreefor snacks, not rice pudding & muller lights.

I have a large appetite and would be hungry 2 hours after eating. My portion size is big. Love my food

I get what you are saying and can see that mullers and rice are not the way.

So far I have only had porridge and muller. Long lie-in. I will leave it at that one muller for today and skip the rice. Fruit and veg are just not filling though. Maybe I'll add more meat to my lunch today and see how I get on.

I really appreciate your help on this girls, thank you so much.

I'd definitely add more lean meat - far better for you than a muller light. Aside from anything else it must be costing you a fortune!

I agree you need to ditch mullers and rice pudding. Things like mullers have artificial sweetners in them and that would cling on to other food you eat. If you want to follow EE then I would say have 3 meals a day with plenty of fruit or veg. However, if you are not fussed do Green days so you can satisfy your appetite with carbs but still supplement with loads of fruit & veg. Drink plenty of water to flush out toxins out of your body. Good luck with your journey.

Ok girls, lunch was chicken fillet, BNS, turnip and brocolli followed by apple and an alpen light (syns) as had Hexb already.

Killing me to resist the muller.

Think a red day could be in order for today.

How are you getting on cutting your food down?

If you have a large appetite as I do you, really need to add more veg to your plate to fill you up otherwise you will end up snacking. Last night I had 3 slices of pork and a plate full of veg which consisted of 5 different varieties for my dinner.

Mullers are not filling in the slightest and 5 is just a waste in my eyes

Take a look at people's food diaries to get some ideas of what there average day looks like

Silly question - sorry :-( What is a BNS??

However.....on the positive side(!) you are within the healthy BMI range, you've eaten allllll that food and stayed the same. I'd say that pretty good going! ;)
Ok not exactly what you want to hear, I know, but it shows with a bit of tweaking you will/can lose!

Sounds like you are craving sugar after your food if you need all those mullers, why not have a nice crispy apple?

I would swap the following:
At 10.30 have a bowl of superfree or Speed soup, or a bowl of chopped fruit.

At 1pm have your omelette with a big salad or a pile of cooked sugarsnap peas/other veg.

At 4.30 have another bowl of soup.

Have your main meal at 6.30
With jelly and fruit for pudding

If needed have a couple pieces of fruit at about 9pm
And syn a treat before bed: hot chocolate options or a biscuit, take it to bed with you so you aren't tempted to have another!

Drink plenty of water too.

tnx girls and shirleen like your menu
ok, so i tried to cut back to 1 yogurt and to eat even more fruit and vegetables , result:
major binges
8 mullers
4 alpen light bars
double lot of magic pancakes

cannot stop thinking of food
right now am sick to death of fruit and veg.

So far today ate magic pancakes (2 eggs,35g porridge 1 muller)
1 fibre plus bar
2 scanbran.

The plan works but you have to be in control of food, not letting it control you.

One thing we have to learn is eating until full, and also we have to train our body to be satisfied by different foods. Fruit never used to fill me. Now it does. I had to have a few weeks where I THOUGHT I was hungry before adapting, but go there in the end.

The body feels thirst like hunger. Drink plenty (you should never FEEL thirsty, you should be constantly hydrated. Thirst means you're already dehydrated) and you may not feel so many hunger pangs.
