Eating so much

Evening all, I know this is a common theme at slimming world but I am fairly new to this and I know weight loss is about what you eat more than how much, but I have just polished off a big plate of 'free' homemade burger, sw chips and salad and am thinking how can I possibly lose weight eating this much. My weight loss technique in the past has been to skip meals and I am worried due to this I have slowed my metabolism down so much that even slimming world won't work :-/ argh!! Help!! Thanks in advance x
