I agree and the situation is not helped by items such as sweets and crisps being cheaper and more easily accessible than fruit and veg. I have 4 children 6 and under and I am very overweight but my take is that is my choice and as an adult it is up to me to ensure my children get the nutrients they need as they are too young to decide for themselves. Dont get me wrong my children do eat sweets but they also eat on plates with a portion right for them and their age, they snack on fruit 99% of the time and enjoy the occasional happy meal or whatever. They also exercise a lot and all go to one or two out of school activities.
