Spoke to my GP agaiiiinnn this morning regarding hair loss.
He did me a perscription for some iron tablets, i have to take 2 a day and he's given me 2 bottles of 28 capsules. I've also got a repeat perscription, my doctor was certain that these will STOP the hair loss completely & my hair will grow back from the roots.. fingers crossed, my hair is my life haha!!

I'm assuming you let your doctor know that you are on cwp? When I told my doctor that I'm going on it she was dead against it. She offered to put me on alli instead. I mentioned the hair loss thing to her and she said to me that if you want to be on cwp then you have to be prepared for the side effects.

Hiya Sinead, I'm also on ferrous gluconate tablets for hair thinning and being generally anemic. They're great!! I swear my hair grew back thicker than before.

I'm also slightly obsessed with my hair (lol) and absolutely hated it when I noticed it getting thinner. The only thing I'll say though, is that they do cause constipation which is made even worse with the diet, so you might have to increase your fibre intake (more fibre 89 etc.)

I'm on week 16 of the diet and not really had any toilet problems so far, so fingers crossed. Taken my first tablet, second tonight.. thats great they're working for you!! x
