I just want to tell you not to give up! On Wednesday I had been on CD for 6 months and lost almost 5 1/2 stone. The last few weeks have been extremely slow losses for me, but I haven't cheated and I haven't given up. I've never lost faith that this diet has and will continue to work for me. It was my 810 week last week and my totm is also due any time, but so far I have lost just over 3lb this week which is a good week for me. It leaves me with 14 1/4lbs now until goal! I've added my 6 month pictures, taken today, to show just how far you can come on this diet-even if you have to take longer to get there.

Never, ever give up. Don't think this diet isn't working for you so you might as well pick at things. You can and you will get there-just like me. It's the best diet I've ever done. :)

Wow, what a great change, well done you! Thanks so much for posting as I am one of the slower losers here - my own fault but I still want to get there at some point! And posts like yours help to keep me mindful of the fact that it is possible:)

Believe me I learned to be very grateful for the good weeks! There were an awful lot of weeks where I lost less than 2lbs-in fact one week I only lost 1/4lb and I'd done nothing different. It's been nearly 27 weeks now and a lot of people have lost much more than I have-but I've only got to see the way nothing fits me in my wardrobe to know that this diet works. No matter how long it takes.:)

Thanks for your post Sparkles. It's really inspired me. My losses have dropped down to around 2lbs per week and it would be easy to give up now, but reading your post makes me want to persevere to the end. Well done on your fantastic losses so far! x.

Hurrah! Well done Sparkles! I agree with you completely. My last few weeks I've had small losses (although I *have* cheated so I deserve them). Since my weigh in on Thurs I've been 100% and have lost 4lbs already this week so I am hoping for a big one by this Thursday's weigh in. I am so glad I didn't just give up!

Well done sparkles on your own success and your words of wisdom for others. I have always founf the end part of a diet tough, when the losses plateau or indeed stop.
I am not sure if this approach could work for others but I am collecting CD packs and getting weighed every fortnight, because I have been known to go off the rails if I get a small loss in a week. Fortnightly weigh-ins allow me to get a more balanced view of how my weight is reducing, although it would be nice to see CD counsellor more often (but have been invited to email/ring in between if need be)

Sparkles, you have done fantastically well. I know it is disheartening when you only have a small loss (God knows I know that feeling, I never had big losses) but you are right in not giving in and not feeling despondant. You are only a stone away from goal and have done brilliant. You will be there in no time.
