Strange question but does anyone know if goat is free on a red day please?? :eatdrink051:

I would say that it was free and class it as lamb/mutton...as long as you dont eat the fat.

Definitely have an EE day with the goat and rice Hun and enjoy!!!

Ooooh, I love curry goat! I wonder if you can actually buy it in a butcher or if you need a specialist type shop. Hmmm, mind you, I bet I couldn't make it like they do it Jamaica so perhaps I best leave it!

Apparently goat meat is lower in fat, saturated fat, calories and cholesterol than other red meats. If you google "goat meat" you find a number of online suppliers that do mail order.

Ok, so I know this sounds totally thick and stupid, but I didn't know people ate goat!!! Not surprised given people eat horse, dog and other animals...just never seen it anywhere as a food option, other than in cheese or milk!

I'm funny about meat - was a veggie for 7 years - but have no issue with it so long as it's done nicely.

So enjoy the goat curry - and I'd imagine it'll be free if lean hehe x
