OMG Linda, I can't believe all the rubbish that is being thrown your way at the moment. It just seems to go on and on for you and your family. Like Mel, said a piece of cake is no big deal, I would have been totally at the food and alcohol trough on a massive scale.

Okay well I towed Mr Depp to the car fixer earlier, but he cannot look at the car until Wednesday or Thursday, he is a little one man business but much cheaper than anywhere else. He checked his records for us today re the clutch and we had it done in October 2009, didn't seem that long ago, and he thought it was last year too so not in warranty. But last time he thought it would be cheap to fix but it wasn't that bit that was gone, and this time it is different so maybe this time it will be the cheap bit..... ha ha

DH not heard from jobs yet..... and we have rung the police re son and had to leave a message but heard nothing back. Am not sure what to do now about sending him back to school. He is in a lot of pain and on regular painkillers and so he didn't go today, but we have already had a letter saying he has had too much time off school this term (well yes he did have 2 operations on his feet....)..... obviously they never listen to a word we say or read the emails then....

But am grabbing back today so hopefully will still have a loss this week...... things will have to start looking up now surely....

How bad is that??? Surely with two operations they could cut him some slack??? Can they not email him some of his work to do, if he is up to it? Its the last thing you need...stressing about how much time he has had off! My company have done the same to me, going on about my sick record........I keep on pointing out to them that last year I HAD to have 10 days off to convalesce after surgery!!! These people get on my wick GE, bl**dy jobsworths...grrrrrrrrrrr
But am grabbing back today so hopefully will still have a loss this week...... things will have to start looking up now surely....

Very strange but I have actually been less hungry today, probably my body still enjoying the 1000 grams of carbs from yesterday..... ha ha. Haven't heard from any jobs yet but DH has applied for a few more today.

Social Services rang as the hospital referred us to them as Jared was injured at school...... they say they want to help and to keep son safe at school, we shall see, but they probably wont be contacting us again for 10 days when our local branch will contact us. They say police should have been round to check out sons injuries, I say they will probably be healed before they get here!! Still waiting on a call back from them. At least I am too busy to eat today.......

DH heard from one of the job agencies today from where he had the interview last week. The guy has picked two of the interviewees, one being DH and wants to interview them again on Thursday..... guess DH will need my car then... ha ha. He did best in the technical tests but the guy now wants to check out their personalities..... thought he was employing them not dating them!!! He also put in an application for a "long term" contract with a school which turns out when the agency rings will be 1 to 2 months.... how is that long term? They have put his CV forward to the school though, but that kind of job isn't very useful unless DH is actually out of work.

Have definately grabbed the day back today, will see what the scales say tomorrow though, I accept they may go up and I will not let it throw me off track....... it is also TOTM week so not expecting too much.

Ha ha, got on scales this morning and have put on 1.5lb...... hmmmm, thought I had grabbed it back yesterday too.... obviously the cakes and chocolate caught up with me..... I will not let this derail me though...... may have to have a think on where I want to go from here though, I only have 1 weeks worth of shakes left (at 2 a day), so may gradually increase my carbs a bit over this week so I dont have an even greater jump next week.....

My DH has lost 30 pounds since January 2nd. He has eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner and an occasional snack. Food we buy anyway: eggs, meat, veggies (low GI ones), etc. He even has pasta -- whole wheat and portioned control. He has whole wheat pitta bread, low carb tortillas, basmati rice, couscous, etc. All portioned controlled.

The South Beach sounds good, will look into it. Did a coaching session this morning, no money though as I am coaching someone so I can get accredited...... then popped to Tesco and had a look around to see what I could eat for lunch, but you know what, I felt that if I ate something off CD plan I would totally blow it, so decided to stick to this for now and I have done really well today, definately back on track. Been really busy, police have been around, very helpful, are going to come along when we speak to the school as we have had problems with the headmaster in the past, social services have rung (long story but we have been involved with them in the past, nothing to do with me but with one of my older children) and the same social worker called today and she is coming around tomorrow to help us sort it out, she seemed really pleased to talk to me, shame I cannot say the same about her!!! We finally also got a call back from the school, so far neither us, the police or social services had managed this feat, so really pleased they rang back but they were not happy that we said the police where scheduling an appointment with them on our behalf and that social services were also contacting them, but hopefully it will all be sorted in the next few days.

Now back to the not so good news, DH has been summoned to his work tomorrow, he is working from home at the moment as his car is away being fixed and I needed mine today to do my coaching, but he is going to have to borrow mine and I am going to have to arrange something else for my daughter as I am supposed to be picking her up when her car is being fixed, and this we assume is DHs summons to tell him he is being made redundant. One of the other guys in the office had warned DH that something was happening Wednesday and that was when Bossman would tell him, so looks like he was right, guess he wouldn't summon him to the office to tell him his job was safe, he would tell him that over the phone. So looks like after lunchtime tomorrow DH will no longer be working as in IT you get gardening leave for the 4 weeks notice incase you sabotage everything. He hasn't heard from the second job yet that told him he would definately get a second interview, very strange. But another recruitment agency have rung today wanting to tout his CV so he has said go ahead......

But all well on the diet front so far, not going to WW tonight for my WI, it is also daughters birthday so she doesn't want to go anyway so will give it a miss this week. I am a gold member so dont have to pay for weeks I miss anyway.

Sounds like a positive day on many fronts GE, well done for staying so strongly on track. Progress too with school and police, hope this goes on and that some kind of resolution is reached. Hope things move on the job front for Mr Depp, especially if tomorrow turns out the way you suspect. Stay strong... you're doing so well.

Ha ha ha ha, had teacher from school on phone, the school cannot see why son isn't back, I mean he only has a head injury. They say we need a letter from doctor or hospital to say why he is off, we have said ask the police or social services, they WILL NOT send work home for him as we haven't sent him back to school.... WTH???? Roll on my visit from social services tomorrow (and I never thought I would say that!!).

Have weighed this morning and my scales have dropped more than 2lb since yesterday so was obviously just water..... phew, panic over, glad I stayed strong, definately worth it....

Now just wonder if there is anything left that could shock me today..... ha ha

Dh now left to go to see bossman, his interview for tomorrow has been cancelled until Tuesday....... hmmmm. Social Services have been and said we dont know why the hospital called us, this is blatantly not a social services matter, but they are going to see if they can get DS some work sent home from school.......
