Halloumi as a HEA

Hey just wondered if anyone could help. I bought some low fat halloumi and wondered how much I'd be allowed as a healthy extra?? Thank you xx

I'd play it safe and have 28g. My HEAs list says 28g most cheese except 42g for feta, mozzarella, red leicester, low fat cheddar, low fat cheshire, 2 dairylea light slices, 2 mini babybels and 5 laughing cow light triangles.
I did kind of hope it'd be 42g but I think 28g is probably right.

Maybe someone who knows for sure will help us out! :)

Hi there, on SW website it only gives Haloumi as a HEB on a GREEN day only, I also just posted about Syn values in Haloumi because I do EE and I dont think I can have it as a HEA. x

Oops I ate a few syns of halloumi then!! You'd think it'd be less as its a mixture of goats milk which is lower in fat.. I'm gonna count it as 42 it is low fat halloumi too, and it's less syns than reduced fat cheddar so really you should be allowed more.. I think it's ok. 4syns per 28g reduced fat cheddar and 3.5 for same of halloumi. X

It's 35g normal halloumi or 45g reduced fat halloumi but as strugglingwrighty says it's only a B choice so only available on Green.
