Healthier me.

    So I've done Slimming world on and off for years and I've lost the weight and then put it all back on and a little bit more!
    I started again yesterday after much putting off! I'm not going to group just because last time I felt I weighed and left because of being busy at work so I'm going on my own!

    First few days have gone well and it's nice not to feel bloated and bleugh and I'm feeling a bit more in control of it even though all I can think about are crisps and chocolate!

    I've got a few reasons for doing this again:
    I can't fit into many of my clothes and I'm refusing to buy anything new.
    I want to get rid of my belly and big arm.
    To feel healthier and that's the most important bit.

    So I've been quiet this week because I've been staying away from home and the scales that I used put 2lb on but i re-weighed on my own scales and it said a 3.5lb loss which is brilliant and I'll keep to my scales because I used them originally.
    I feel that I'm getting better at making right choices and because I've given myself a 2lb target it helps. Also what helped this week was I wore a dress which was quite tight and I felt very uncomfortable and I thought this is definitely going to work. I've got better at saying no at work to the sweets and such just need to keep it up when I get home and go for the snack cupboard!

    Subscribing to your new diary :) Go you refusing the treats at work :D I agree to just use your set of scales, and only them... otherwise it can mess with your head as they are really all different :) xx

    So I've been AWOL for a good few weeks and to be honest it's because I just couldn't face "this". At the weekend I had a bit of a heart to heart with the other half about how this diet isn't working because of me! I'm buying in the food and just not following so as of Sunday I've been back on it. It's been ok and that's because I've been planning and I've over come a few hurdles such as saying no to chocolate buttons round the inlaws. It would be great if this determination could last and to be honest I'm taking one day at a time.
