Hello another Newbie with excess lbs !!

    Just to say Hello.

    I have come across this forum on may occasions whilst goggling various information and have always found it helpful and insightful. Its because of this I decided to join, as I find dieting such a lonely thing to do sometimes, especially when no one else around you is!!
    Ok so briefly I'm a mum of three 17, 14 and 7 I work, and travel an awful lot. This over the last five or so years has lead to an excessive lifestyle, far too much alcohol and restaurants!
    I am now at my heaviest and trying to do something about it.
    I gave up smoking in January and so far have stuck with it, and managed not to gain any more weight.
    I have tried Slimfast and failed quickly!
    I tried those Ali tablets combined with a low fat diet, and they did nothing!
    Now I am doing WW online. I am in week 2 with a 4lb loss in the first week.
    Another battle I have is I have PSO so weight is an issue.
    On the plus side I rode a bike for the first time in almost 20 years at the weekend, and didn't die, so thats good!!:bliss:

    I just wanted to say hi and thanks for such a great forum, and I hope to find the support here, and in turn support others.

    Hi Sarah! Im new to the site too ( and too weight loss and healthy living efforts:p) I have been trying to improve diet and excercise at home and its definitly an uphill climb :( im hoping to find some helpful tips and motivating factors on this site :)

    Hope you get there, I always get soo inspired by others and their weight loss, so I know it can be done, just wish it happened that easy for me!!
    But the Key is it CAN be done and finding the right plan for you.
    Just wish there was one that allowed Thai food Wine and Vodka, I would be great at that!! :7834:
    Opps no hang on thats how I ended up this weight in the first place lol

    LOL! amen to the wine diet plan! that is and forever will be my greatest struggle :S that and eating properly.. why does everythng good for you taste like poo?@?

    lol am geting used to the taste of salad now, thank god its hot, it make salad seem like the right choice.
    Although this week I have had BBQ, Thai meal out and Domino's...oh and a few vodkas, being the bank holiday so god knows what that will do.
    I will be grateful if I stay the same this week lol

    amen ! our stag and doe for our wedding is in two weeks and im afraid ill consume my monthly calorie allowance in cocktails that night!
