Hello Guys,
My name is Tim, 29 years old from Hertfordshire
I’ve always been overweight and I’ve always been able to carry it well until the last year or so.
My knees crack, I get out of breath real easy. I’m 300 pounds and really want to lose this weight before something serious happens to me.
I’ve really let myself go in this last year. All I do is sit in front of my computer all day, working away 10 -12 hours a day and HAD no consideration of my health.
It’s been a year since I’ve had a cigarette which I feel is a big accomplishment in itself. I was a heavy smoker for 15 years, and yes, I’m 29, and I’m so proud of that alone. I still remember how I was coughing and wheezing in bed which would keep me up all night. Never, never will I smoke again.
I’m now on a mission to lose this weight, and I know that I can do it. I’ve never been so determined in my life.
I’m doing my own specific diet of the following:
50% Protein – 300 Grams
30% Fats – 80 Grams
20 Carbs 120 Grams
With a total of 2400 calories a day.
I’m following a program called P90X, probably nobody has heard of it as it seems to be an American thing, but was recommended to me through a friend.
I’m hoping to meet some friends here that are in a similar position as me.
