Hello-new start

Hello everyone

I have been lurking on this site for a while now, have posted one or two comments, but haven't really joined in. As everyone is so friendly and helpful, and also doing so well with their weight loss, I have decided that these boards are definitely what I need to get me back on the straight and narrow!

I am 28 and from Somerset and I am getting married in September. I have about 2 stone to lose. I am following weight watchers and actually quite like the new points system, although, as with any new diet, for me the weekends are a nightmare! I am following online as I can't afford to go to group at the amount and so am struggling without the support. I have also started a new gym programme which is very hard work, and so will hopefully help shift the pounds!

Congrats on your wedding.

I got married a little more than 3 months ago and I can tell you it is great being married!

I am also on weight watchers! Weekends can be tricky.

What I do is, I save points from my weekdays to use on the weekends.

For example, I save 2 points everyday that I don't use on those specific days. By Friday I have saved 8 points in total that I can then use on Friday and Saturday (4 extra points each day).

I'm very excited about my upcoming wedding and actually being married, but at the moment not so excited about the prospect of wobbling down the aisle!! So I am really hoping that WW will work for me this time. It would also be nice to start off married life leaner and healthier.

I will try saving some points each day during the week to use for treats at weekends, sounds like a good idea and I do struggle to use all my points some days. I'm also going to try and lay off the wine, I'm sure I could get to goal much quicker without this indulgence!
