Help - how to syn homemade cake slices?!

Hi,

If I check the syn values for cake slices on the app they seem quite low? Are you actually meant to syn all the individual ingredients? This triples the syns the app says where on earth is this 5.5 syn coffee cake?!

I think the best way would be to syn the ingredients. The old book used to list syn values per 28g, not per serving. I don't have the app, no idea what that specifies. I agree, you'd be hard pushed to find tasty cake for such low syns, a decent slice anyway but the supermarket "light choice" cake slices are usually about 100cals so 5 syns a piece, I'd that helps to compare?

Yes, I would syn all the ingredients and then obviously it depends on how many slices you divide it into as to how you syn it per slice
