    Hi I'm Vicki, 32 year old and wanting to loose approx 4 stones. I'm going to be following slimming world but not going to classes. Just thought I'd say HI and good luck everyone

    Hi there

    I have just joined this site and am planning to do SW although I too will be doing it at home. I have between 3-4 stone to lose and have had many failed weight loss attempts - I'm just hoping that I can crack it this time.

    I'm not really sure how much weight I want to lose to be honest I'm just going to go with the flow and see when I feel comfortable. I have also had many failed attempts, I'm hoping I can do it this time and I'm hoping the support from this forum will help me too :)

    Slimming world is my choice too, It's the only one that has worked in the past. It's been me giving up that's the problem! I'm feeling very positive about it this time. You'll do great! Good luck!

    Thanks girls im finding weekends to be a struggle, im used to treats on the weekend. Suppose its about making healthier choices xxx

    I know what you mean about the weekends, I have failed dismally today. It has been so lovely weather wise and I gave into a nice cream at the beach and then feasted on a BBQ - nightmare! xx

    Was the BBQ bad telly-tots?

    I think it's just important to not deprive yourself and know that you can have treats but you have to want health more. So it's fine to have a treat weekends just changing the treat, my weakness is Chinese, I tend to just stay away because you're looking at two days of naughtiness with leftovers lol

    Hi, It was kind of bad - jacket potatoes, corn on the cob, lamb steaks and ... (Here it comes) sausages and (even worse!) ..... Belly pork - oooops :-(

    I'm with you on the weekend thing - I feel like Im missing out if I can't have my wine - especially if it's good weather, we just finished our patio and have lovely furniture on it and nothing beats feet up on a weekend evening when the kids are in bed relaxing with a glass of wine and knowing a takeaway is on its way. I suppose that can all happen again when I reach goal, it's making the right choices the rest of the time so you can enjoy a sunny weekend evening with a glass of wine too!
