I am aiming to lose well over 200lbs and I will be posting my updates as regular as possible. Feel free to say hi and offer any advice you feel may help.

Today I had my first real 'treat' since starting my diet, I wasn't sure if I would feel guilt ridden or not, even after eating it I'm still not sure, lol. Anyway, Today's meals as follows: Breakfast: A bowl of granola with skimmed milk. Lunch: A battered cod from the chippy Tea: A bowl of mulligatawny soup and 3 ryvita's

Are you weighing the granola and aware of the calorie count? Mine is horrendous!

A good choice - I'm a huge fish and chip shop girl. There's actually less calories in battered fish than you might think - a large (and I mean large) is 700. A regular size is around 450. I weighed mine once as an experiment to see how many cals and cross referenced it against the official fish fryers association nutrition page. I'm such a geek!! But my point is - you had a treat and made it a sensible one.

Thanks for the welcome and well done on your weight loss.I haven't been weighing my Granola, I have just been taking a guess at how much is okay to have, I should probably start weighing it out in the future.
