Am seriously thinking about getting one - but wanted to know some opinions first.

Basically I need to know about SW friendly recipes, any good idea's what I could make that is either very very low syn or even better free???? ;)

Also - if anybody has one, what do you think about it?

I am thinking in this nice weather, maybe i could make my own thats more SW friendly & also my girls love ice cream so they can help make yummy treats too!! :D

Have a look on he recipes board - I'm sure I read a syn free ice-cream recipe yesterday. :)

As for actual machines, it depends on what upon what you want but obviously the *good* ones which freeze and paddle themselves are quite pricey. On a tight budget you can just use a tupperware in your freezer and make sure you stir/beat it through regularly as it freezes to avoid ice crystals.

Alternatively, what about a granita? Easy to make syn free using sugar free cordial.

    HTH :) xx
