    How to lose weight at McDonald's

    An American man lost nearly six stones in six months by eating almost every meal at McDonald's.
    However, his diet did not include Big Macs, French fries and chocolate milkshakes, but was mostly salads, wraps and apple dippers without the caramel sauce.
    Chris Coleson tipped the scales at almost 20 stones in December. He now weighs just over 14 stones. The 42-year-old businessman from Virginia said he chose McDonald's because it was convenient.

    i just think its mad!!!! WHY go to maccy d's for salad!?!?!?! surely life hasnt got that bad ... you cant even go and buy salad from a supermarket?!?! has it!...
    NO, macd's is EVIL!!!! even before LT, its minging!!!! full of 5hite, made me feel sick ...so kept away..well, apart from lattes :)

    pure laziness that's why, not going near the place in the future that's for sure

    what's your 1st meal going to be when you get off this train?. mine is defo a nice piece of tandoori chicken with salad, i can almost taste it now

    I remember this story and if not it sounds like the same one, but what they dont tell you is that he was not a very healthy man as he was lacking a lot of necessary goodness in is blood samples such as the correct level of minerals and vitimins etc.

    I sat with my little one yesterday while she tucked into a McD's chicken burger and chips followed by a McFlurry! She had had a really long day at an event and it was too late for me to go home and cook so we stopped at McD's. Before LT I would have joined her but yesterday I wasn't fussed and was just happy to watch her eat.

    You'll be surprised! I thought I'd be starving on this diet but most of the time I'm not bothered. Yesterday I was on the go so much that I didn't have anything to eat till 5:15. I wasn't hungry and there just wasn't the opportunity or time to eat. The down side was that I had to fit in 2 more shakes before I went to bed!!!

    Don't get me wrong, I do have moments when I could eat, especially if the children have pizza, pasta bake or lasagne but I think it is the melted cheese that tempts me!!!
