well I only know because I made similar last night

Dumplings in a packet mix from Tesco are 18 syns whole packet. I reckoned you could get about 14 baby dumplings out of that packet.

I made Michelle's beef cobbler last night for the second time and loved it.

Its basically

extra lean mince
onions
mushrooms
peas
oxo cubes ( I did use some gravy granules too and synned them)

The cobbler is

1 tub no syn cottage cheese
1 pkt of smash mash
salt
pepper
3 eggs
enough water to make into a consistency to mould into scone shapes without being sticky

cook mince etc in frying pan
add oxo and water

transfer to ovenproof dish
place cobbler scones on top (I made about 12 out of this mix)
bake on 190 for about 25 mins until golden brown and serve with veggies as very filling.

The only syns on EE are for the gravy granules if you use them :D

there is a difference but yes I tweak the rules and use it sometimes :) I just drain all the fat off when I've dry fried it and wipe with kitchen towel to get as much as possible.

also if you have a HEXA left or want a few syns I sometimes add a weeny bit of grated cheese to the scone mix...

My kids even ate this meal both times telling me how yummy it was
