My Local Surgery / GP Notice on door for LL'ers....

If I did this through my work private GP it would cost me £35 a trip so these charges seem outrageous - especially if you can do it cheaper with BUPA!
I actually saw my LLC's GP privately to get signed on to the programme as I needed to be sure that I got signed on to it by someone who understood LL - I wanted no objections! I felt it would be unfair to demand a last minute appointment with my NHS GP, especially during flu season, so I saw my LLC's GP privately and he charged me £30 - again - much cheaper - and he saw me within 16 hours of me calling him!
On an ongoing basis, luckily my actual NHS GP is thrilled and charges me nothing. I even offered to pay him and he told me not to be ridiculous. I will probably see him more in the first half of this year than I have seen a GP in the last 20 years so I think this balances out!
